As the title has already asked, what genre do you like to write? I was also wondering, what inspires you to write?

I like to write gothic romance/horror...and the most inspirational thing to me is dark poetry XD
(and, once in a while, random strikings of muse lightning XD)

That is just one big mixture of my favorite things to read. ^-^ I write psychological horrors mostly, and comic strips if I'm in the mood (Nice combonation, aye? Lol). Usually my dreams inspire me for my stories, and real life situations that I've gotten myself in are what I have my comics about.

I write hummor fantasy stories, with a touch of angst and hurt/comfort mixed with a dash of romance.

I think we ought to live happily ever after.
I write fantasy and romance. I have a hard time writing a story without some romance. It's become a must in my writing style.
It should be hair-raising!

I had originally planned on being a fantasy writer, but have recently found my things seeming to lean farther into the Sci-fi genre.

And I feel your pain of not having any creative writing in your classes! My sophomore year had a bunch though, since every week she handed out spelling words we had to use them in a story. ^^

I don't think Christians can... I'd get punished sevenfold or something XD
But I really mean that. Nothing gets me thinking faster than being struck with an idea for a curse and building off that. Something about the helplessness, uniqueness, and inevitable hardship of the condition is...fascinating, beautiful, alluring...to me.
