You see, pets who are life-mated to their mate (ie, it's not just a fling or one-night stand) tend to have more babies. Call it the power of love?
But keep in mind that "life-mates" isn't just an expression. Only under very specific circumstances can this bond be broken (see the breeding rules thread for more info), so make sure you mean it before you life-mate your pet!
