IntroductionAs a general rule-of-thumb, it is your responsibility as members of this guild to adhere to the rules and regulations posted by not only Gaia's staff (The Terms of Service) but the owners of this guild as well. So, to make things very simple, I'm going to link you to the main thread where the rules and regulations are listed. Read Me Before You Even BOTHER Posting!!!To make things even simpler, the ToS still apply to Gaia guilds. If you're doing something against the ToS, then you'll be subject to punishment. The only difference is that the mods and owners of this guild will be dealing with you- not the official mods of Gaia. Though be forewarned, certain actions may cause outside moderation into the guild. Let's avoid that all together, shall we?

"Randomness" Specific Rules
It's also a general understanding that each forum has specialized rules that pertain to it and only it.
This is the "Randomness" forum. Not the "Quest" forum. Not the "Other" forum. Things of that nature do not belong here. If you're going to beg for gold, please go to the "Quest" forum and make an official thread for your begging needs. Otherwise, your thread will either be A) Moved to the correct place (assuming it meets the criteria)* or B) Deleted completely.
Just because this forum was created for the fun of being "random" doesn't mean that it's the chatterbox- and will be moderated as such.
Here is a list of certain rules that pertain to this forum and only this forum:
1]- Bumping your own topic is allowed, but not encouraged. It's annoying and generally, the original purpose of the thread will be lost amidst the sea of bumps.
2]- Spam is strictly prohibited. If I discover you spamming in any way, shape or form, you will receive immediate warning from me or another mod on duty. **
3]- Random does not entail "disgusting." If your idea of random violates Gaia's PG-13 rule or even the morals of the guild owners, expect to meet immediate moderation.
4]- Try to be literate. I will not step in to protect you, nor anyone else that cannot type a legible sentence without due cause- such as English being a second language.
5]- Obviously, trolling is strictly prohibited.
6]- Flaming is strictly prohibited. There is a difference between caustic repose and blatant, but well aimed, idiocy.
7]- Avoid foul language. We will not take action for small offenses, but if you continue to ignore our request to "clean up your language", then you will face the consequences. In other words, avoid cussing and other insulting words/phrases.
8]- Falling under the same rules as trolling, hate threads are strictly prohibited. This guild does not segregate due to race, creed, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other factors- so the members that join of their own will should not either.
9]- Advertising is not allowed. It's annoying and generally against Gaia rules.
10]- If you're not a mod, don't act like one. This isn't necessarily just an attitude issue- it could also land you in hot water with not only the actual mods, but Gaia moderation as well. If you want to simply say, "I don't think this is allowed," then by all means, go ahead.
11]- No Begging!
12]- What the mods and owners say is law.
*Certain Criteria falls under jurisdiction of each individual forum and the mods that run it.
**Spam entails posting topics over and over again- even if they're in separate parts of the guild, posting the same thing over and over again without good reason, excessive bumping, and anything else the mods and owners deem to be freakishly annoying.
There we go. Twelve easy rules to follow, right? And most of them correspond directly to the ToS, so you should be used to doing them already.

Stages of Punishment
In this forum, there are certain stages that come with moderation.
Step One: You receive a PM from myself or another mod on duty. This is simply a warning and will have no bearing on you unless you continue to break the rules and ignore our warnings.
Step Two: Black Listing. If you continue to ignore my/the mods wishes and continue to disobey the rules, you will be added to the probation list. This is when your fate falls into the hands of the owners. Your name will be brought up to the Owners and the possibility of removal ensues.
Step Three: Complete removal. If you continue to disobey not only the mods, but the owners as well, you will be removed from the guild. Depending on the offense, further punishment may be brought up before Gaia's official moderation.
Very easy to understand. Nobody- I repeat- NOBODY should go past Step One.

I don't mind it I've worked retail for most my life so far.. so I can handle disgruntled customers lol.
