I know its kinda silly to say a series of games has influenced you but the Metal Gear series does make you think. You know you can't deny it.
I learned a lot. The most important thing I learned is that I can choose the type of life I want to live. Its kinda cliche but you really have to play Metal Gear Solid to understand the meaning behind that.

It's mostly influenced me in a literary sense. Personally however...I can't go into that or you will run from your computer, gnashing your teeth and clawing out your eyes.
It goes to show how much the human body can handle, when given the perseverance, which in itself has influenced me if only in the literary sense as well, even if it might come from just being a simple pawn. Goddamn people. Huzzah.

I walk silently all the time now, and I have since I played MGS3.
Heels go down first, then roll onto the rest of your foot.
It's kind of weird, and its been commented on before, but it's a true story.
But, otherwise...
It kind of gave me a vantage point, a new perspective from which to view a lot of other things- storylines, connection to the characters, etc.
Metal Gear's characters are just so easy to love or hate.

It gave me a different way to look at the government. We truly can't trust those in power completely. In reality, the way government runs behind the scenes in the games could be completely real...

Made me want to learn how to properly draw a male anatomy without making them look like a girl. =P Because I'm drawing Snake all the time, I can draw male bodies with ease. Still practicing!

It's taught me how to be more tactical in other games and wait for the enemy to come to you. And made me tie a tie into a bandanna and wear it on my head.
