i believe the time has come to do something about the guild sitch. i think we need to get together and choose a new guild captain and restart the guild, as ell as send out PMs to all our existing "members" and asking if they still wish to take part in the guild.
then i think it would be a good investment to visit the art forums and spend a little gold on some decent banners for ourselves, to put in our signatures and make the guild look more appealing.
if anyone has ideas, suggestions, points to make, or protests to this idea, please post them in this thread.

I think it is a good idea. We need to revitalize this guild. Not many people have been active on it in a long time and the loss of our guild captain just made it worse.

okay, so the question is How do we get a new guild captain? i have no experience with guilds and i dont understand how to do it.

I think a vice captain can promote themselves, I think if I was able to promote whoever was going to take over to a vice captain they would be able to change the ownership over to themself.
Scratch that. I actually have to transfer the ownership myself in the moderator panel. At least I hope I can. It may only let the owner do it. In which case we're f$%#ed.

In which case we're f$%#ed. not really. im rich on gaia, 20k i nothing, i can restart the guild if i want to, but id rather have the extra gold get us some neat little subforums.

You are now the guild captain. You should probably demote badkat to at the most a crew member so whoever stole his account cant change anything. I doubt that they would want to but just in case.
