Another use for aloe juice is to soothe acidy stomachs. my husband was using it for awhile. you can buy it at the health food stores in gallon jugs. the taste is absolutely foul (he tried mixing it with apple jiuce, didn't help) and it makes you very......regular. he stopped taking it because of those things. he found that pineapple and papaya are better for indigestion and they taste better. blaugh

I've heard of using papya for that before. I'd not heard of Aloe for that...though I had heard of the...side effect.

The papaya he actually found in chewable tablets. It worked very well for him. The aloe.....not so much. Great for burns of all kinds, good as hair gel (the aloe gel that you get for sunburns is awesome on hair), but taken internally, really really foul. I only recommend it to those who are either (trying to be mature for a moment) seriously constipated or if you have killer indigestion and really want to stay away from prescription drugs.

mixed with a few drops of peppermint oil it as an amazing lotion and good for dry scalp too

if you have dandruff add 3 drops peppermint oil and 3 drops rosemary oil mixed with 1/4 cup aloe wet your hair and rub in to your scalp for 1 min. leave it on another 2 min. then wash it out in the shower gets rid od dandruff and makes your hair soft too 4laugh
