I was driving home from Subway (for the second time tonight) and I was listening to a song on the radio and what caught my attention was the voice. I would know that voice anywhere, it doesn't matter the style from which he sings, or the instruments that play but his voice is so familiar to my ears that I knew instantly who was singing the song.
Yet... I did not recognize the song. It was playing on shuffle (Shuffle Weekend for the MLK holiday so the DJ's get to have a vacation) and so random songs will play at random times, blah blah yadda yadda.
So I wasn't expecting anything new to be playing, I was not expecting a new song from Blue October to be randomly playing in the middle of the night.
There are few bands that I go crazy for, loving each and every one of their songs. Linkin Park is one of those bands; Blue October is another. I would buy each and every one of their CDs and I never buy CDs wink
Anyways, so what song is playing? Dirt Room, which apparently comes out on their new CD (Approaching Normal) on March 24th of this year. Im excited. Im super excited biggrin

Blue Octobers lead singer has a very distinctive voice indeed 3nodding and on the note of Linkin Park they are freaking awesome. They've been my fav band for 6 or 7 years now.
