Hi all, this is sacrificial Jennifer, and id like to take a moment to let everyone know that i am no the new captain of the guild, not that the two remaining active members didnt already know. >__>
you will probably notice that we have spontaneously generated a few new subforums that are starved for attention, please, go feed them! but is true, i do have a lot of plans for this guild, and will probably start the next step of my diabolical plan later today.
If anyone has any issues with me running the guild, feel free to write a thread about it as long as its in good taste. if you have enough support and a viable alternative, I'd gladly step down.
But in the mean time, tell your friends that things are changing in sins of the blood, and invite them to come join us!
Also, this thread will always have information regarding the current changes, advances and ideas for the guild.
ATTN: you are still recieving experience, but my main computer is kaput and my secondary doesnt like gaia, so give it a week or so before i cvan update the experience in your character profiles.

EXPERIENCE SYSTEM!
Ive been thinking for a while, and ive decided to implement a system to reward good RP work. and so, ive come up with a way to implement stats and experience. i havent perfected it yet, but ill be working on it over the next few days to try and make it balanced, but my idea is that all RP posts will be graded based on : Grammar, Spelling, Length, Dialogue, Relevance, and possibly a couple other areas, each of which will be worth an experience point, and once a predetermined amount of experience has been accumulated, you will gain 2 proficiency points to put into one of five or six proficiencies, such as strength, dexterity, stamina, willpower, and a couple i havent figured out yet.
look for this to show up on the character profiles thread sometime in the next week or two.
and also, please voice your opinions and ideas concerning this in the thread, i want your input!!!

You will now notice that in all RP threads, not counting the lounge, a small exp count will appear under each post, shortly after i log in for the day.
im still working on how much experience a level costs, and exactly how leveling is going to affect you, but for now, let me explain how i judge exp.
there are five sections.
there the base, meaning that if none of the other criteria are met, you still get one exp for posting.
Grammar, Im not too nazi-like with this, but either needs to be grammatically correct or phonetically correct (i.e. if its written like people talk, youll get the point)
Spelling, I'm more nazi with this one, firefox has spellcheck built in, and even if its not built in, you can get it for IE, so there's no excuse for misspelled words
dialogue, this includes monologue and dialogue, because thats how people comunicate, if noone is interacting with each other the RP's ill just fall apart.
Relevance, if you aren't contributing anything more than your own existence, no point. this means that if you come in and sit down, buit dont notice anything or anyone, and dont interact, then you get no point here.
Also, please note that one-liners get only one experience, regardless of relevance, dialogue, spelling, and grammar
Finally, any posts that meet all five criteria gain an extra point!
so the best ou can get from one post is 6 experience!
