This is a guild for those who have bears who wish to do good and be helpful, cheerful, or even protective, brave and bold. You need to actually own a teddy bear and create a persona for that ted to join the guild. Your ted does not have to exist as a Gaian avatar (it's quite tricky becoming an avatar, as I can attest!), or even to wear a costume in real life, but you will need a drawing at least to show your ted in his or her persona. You will also need a photograph of your ted in real life. Each of these pictures should be about the size of a Gaian avatar (so do not worry too much over tiny details of costume for the application picture!) You should also try to make your ted a unique individual, not a slavish copy of something you love, such as a character in anime or movies or comics. This is who you will be when you are here in my guild, so even though you pay homage to something you love, let your bear look and act and sound like themselves!
IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER:
To apply for this guild you MUST have....
1) A ted in real life
2) A photo of that ted (avatar-sized)
3)A picture of your ted's persona for the guild (avatar-sized)

2) The persona name of your ted (in the event he or she has a secret identity or is otherwise named differently in their persona)
3) Member Class of your ted (see the "Member Classification" Announcement in the main forum)
4) Any weapons or fighting techniques used by your ted (see the *Weapons Information* Announcement in the main forum)

You are quite welcome to enter and peruse the guild and the information within, and are encouraged to do so before applying. In the guild, you will be RPing as your ted, and you will be in the home and on the property of myself, Sir Oscar the Bold, who is Commander of the League and has given over the use of his home and grounds as a headquarters for the League. There will be no storyline involved, but you should stay in character when you visit. You may come here to make reports on your ted's work, and you may also enjoy the house and grounds and the company of your fellow teds in a reasonably literate, polite manner.
You are expected to make at least ONE post; you must post your membership certificate in the Membership Listing Sticky here in the main forum when you receive it. It is greatly preferred that you might come here more often than that, but if you are admitted and will not even so much as follow the rules and post your certificate, and ignore reminders and warnings, you will NOT be allowed to remain.
Hopefully this will not be just a game to you. We hope for members who really DO wish to be helpful, kind, or to do their part fighting a disease or other problem that harms or takes the lives of people--especially children.
