Traveling away from the Clan was a good choice, she decided. Hisoka was partcially (sp?) taking care of her job for her as the lead hunt scout, but that didn't matter. She was away and free, and the food around this area was very common, so she never went hungry.
She shuddered to think about when she knew the true pains of hunger; starvation, slow death, the torture of knowing the awful sound of constant stomach sounds, the call for food. She was happy to know she would never feel that ache again.
She sniffed around a bit; which territory was she in now? She had traveled far and long, and she knew she would have to return to her Clan sooner or later...
...But enough reminescing (sp?). She needed to figure out where she was. Only... she wasn't sure. She didn't know too many hybrids... and she knew more from the Capricorn Clan than any others, with the exception of Corann. Argh... was she lost!?

Eltanin was travelling the territory of the Light House. He wasn't an official member... at least not yet, he thought. The wounded tinix was flying over it all, his preferred method of flying, when something caught his eye.
Who is that? What are they doing here? His mind went very defensive. If this was a spy, he'd have to show this... thing... one thing or another.
Diving, his bandage fluttering angrily, the tinix landed dramatically right in front of the foxen. With a glare from his 'good' eye, Eltanin interrogated, "What are you doing here?"

A squeak, followed by a glare, and then a growl, she stared at the tinix in front of her. Where had he come from!? She had only been sniffing around to figure out where she was, and a tinix of all hybrids appeared!
...Was she in the Light territory? She returned her ruby glare to the tinix, who obviously wasn't being too friendly. "I'm just a bit lost, if you're wanting to know. Who are you? What do you want?
"I'm just an innocent!" Whatever this tinix was thinking, it wasn't good. She tensed. She was better at hit and run attacks, and sneaking around, but that in itself was only good for hunting.
What could she do against a hybrid of this caliber? She usually hid from them, or at least tried to avoid them...
...and yet, here she was, facing a strong hybrid. A tinix... he was... she shut out the thought, and focused on trying to think of ways to escape should he attack her.

Eltanin's glare didn't waiver. His mostly blind eye seemed to see things not quite there. How dare this foxen! He seemed to say. Not sure if she was lying or not, the tinix held his ground. He could smell the scent of Fire on her, thought he wasn't at all concerned... she was of much lower status.
"My name is no consequence to you until I say it is. And all I want is to know why you are here. This isn't a very common place to get lost... where are you coming from." His voice boomed.
At her trying to prove her innocence, he only snorted, obviously not believing her.

"All you males are hopeless sometimes!" she snapped, annoyed. "I come from very far away, and I only just now wandered here! I don't have the best sense of direction when I don't know where I am!" she shouted angrily.
Her fur was on end, and from time to time her red eyes would flash with the rage of fire, but only them. She didn't lose her calm nature too often, but she found she was coming close to losing it now.
"Well, if you think you're so high and mighty to not tell me your name, I have no need to tell you mine, not that you'll care," she spat back. "And I am lost, thank you very much." She growled at him softly, a warning to just merely leave her alone.
She would never attack someone stronger than her... ever.

Males? Eltanin hardly thought it was a male effort. It was bad enough the Light House was run by a tigon, but he would not allow any other species to take the Light House by surprise again. And even though this dark and flamed foxen didn't look very daunting, he wasn't going to take a chance.
"Maybe you should be more careful in your travels, and if you wished to enter Light Territory, you should be less sneaky about it." Dark streams of darkness, entangled with light, started to stream around his paws threateningly. The violet of his eye darkened.
"That's fine, I don't need to know your name... but I am not the one interloping onto other's land!"

She felt slightly nervous suddenly, though she still bared her teeth. Was he going to attack her? She wasn't yet strong enough! "Too bad I'm usually reckless," she stated sarcastically.
Oh, she was scared. But who was to say that her enemy needed to know? This tinix obviously thought she was intruding when she wasn't. "I wasn't trying to be sneaky!" she snarled. "You're assuming everything!"
She watched for a moment, feeling her fur begin to really stand on end. He was going to attack her! What could she do!? Panic filled her mind and she found she was frozen. In fear.
"Stop! Don't!"

Eltanin smirked at the foxen's weakness, nothing like the proud and regal tinixes. And surely a tinix wouldn't try sneaking around. The loss of his intense emotion -distracted by the foxen's fear- made the tendrils fall, fading away until there was nothing left. He wouldn't attack her intentionally, she was too weak and not worth his magical effort.
"Don't? Or what?" He seemed to taunt

Feeling the prickle of magic die off, she backed away with a snarl, fear falling off her aura in waves. She didn't understand it, but this tinix was making her writh with fear. She never feared anything. Ever.
"Don't... don't hurt me." She mumbled, eyes cast down as she relaxed... slightly. "...I have family I need to return to. I can't leave my Clan! I... I was... on vacation," she said awkwardly.

Eltanin snorted, smirking in humor, the first time he showed anything but hard-a** guy. "I'm not going to kill you," he grumbled, lifting his metal leg and itching his nose with it's mostly-immobile paw. Most of his anger was gone, for pity was getting into him. He truly felt sorry for this small foxen, she was just so pathetic!

She relaxed carefully, and glanced up at the giant tinix. "Thank you," she said, quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. She was really grateful. Shivering a bit, she backed away. She missed her tundra lands; she could hide better, and have the advantage of knowing how to move quickly over the snow.
"...Do you want to know my name?" she asked timidly. She decided she had good reason to be afraid. "...And, I apologize about my rudeness from earlier." She half bowed to him, but moved from paw to paw, still feeling vulnerable. She almost wished Hisoka or Danny or Corann were around with her.
Or even her Clan. And where the heck was Reiko, anyway!? She hadn't seen him in a while...

Eltanin stared down at her. He truly didn't care to learn the foxen's name, but maybe he was being too harsh? Not like he truly cared about that either. "Uhhh..." he paused, wondering if his response would lead to something else -which he really didn't want. "...sure."
"And I accept you apology."

She could tell the tinix didn't really care to know her name. His response surprised her, though. "In return, I'd like to know your name... sir," she added, thinking maybe if she was polite he'd consent.
"I wouldn't want to be calling you "Tinix" all the time..." she muttered under her breath. "Thank you for accepting." She was taking her time with announcing her name... not that he cared.
She didn't want to have an enemy, but she knew there'd be hybrids who wouldn't like her at all.

"Fine" the tinix snorted at the added title 'sir', now that was more like it!
"Call me Eltanin, then, and you'd do best to remember that name." He stared down at her from his good eye. He shook his head and then the rest of his body. A few drops of blood fell form his unhealed wounds.
