An old Japanese style home, complete with sliding shoji doors, this is where I stay when I and the Band of Seven are not on a mission. The place has a wooden porch with two small steps towards the doors. There are little decorations, because it is not necessary for our lifestyle. Jakotsu lives in the home as well, and any of the Shichinintai are welcome to come here whenever they wish.

The Traveller arrives at his destination, fading in as though an illusion but direly real as his first steps on Mt. Hakurei part the tall grass, his cart ahead of him, thrusting the tall grass down to the ground as it pushes over it. Wheeling the cart to the clearing just before the house, the man pauses and vanishes as though he were never there. Were one to look into the cart, they would find the grave soil of Malakai Gainsburough and the body of a human warrior with liniage inscriptions tattooed on his back and as well as a tattoo of an intricate circle with the symbol of the sacred jewel adorning it.

Bankotsu stepped through the shoji doors of his villa and saw that the cart he had been awaiting arrived. A warrior, strong and ruthless, but with a sense of honor and loyalty. He would be the newest member of the Band of Seven.
Stepping down from the small steps before his home, the revived warrior stepped towards the cart and pulled a violet jewel shard from his own arm, a small trickle of flood flowing from the cut that was made. Holding it to the sky, he made one final thought before he completed his act.
'Forgive me Ginkotsu,' he thought regretfully, before using a hand to place the grave soil in and around the corpse. "Malakai Gainsburough, with this shard of the Shikon no Tama arise from this cart a new man, a resurrected human as I am, and become the 6th member of the Shichinintai...the Band of Seven..."
He took the jewel and sharply plunged it into the mark on the man's back, finishing his incantation as the violet light began to shine around him, a sign of his revival. "Arise, Malakai, as our brother...my brother..."
As the light shined brighter, he stepped away from the cart, Banryuu held securely over his back. It would all be over soon, and the Band would be one man short of completion.

As the light shines bright, an unearthly roar is heard as Malakai's soul tears itself from it's hellish bindings and is thrust back into the world of the living. Taking the shape of a feiry tiger, the soul pulls itself from the ground and leaps into the corpse, the purple light being replaces with bright orange. The corpse levitates for a moment, inches from the bed of the cart before being consumed in intense flame which obliterate the cart. As the flames disapate and the light receeds, the corpse, now a living being once more, kneels on the ground, his head bowed before Bankotsu. "Thank you, my new brother. For this second chance to walk among the living. May my flame serve your purposes." As he speaks, small whisps of smoke trail from his mouth. Malakai stands to his feet and opens his human eyes for the first time, at first overcome by flames themselves before they receed, revealing orange tinted irises. Across his face are several black, claw-like markings, tattoos recieved from the previous owner of the body. The warrior of flame's long black hair hangs loosely over his shoulders, blown slightly by the mountain breeze.

"No need to look so formal!" he laughed as he went and put his arm around his new comrade. "You're one of us now, which means you can make yourself at home here on the mountain! This is our place where we hang out and train for whenever we're called out to battle, and for now we're taking it easy."
The dark-haired man laughed hardily as he patted Malakai on the back, not at all unaccustomed to being so friendly with the other members of the Shichinintai. "Let's go to the villa and get Jakotsu to make something to drink," he offered, already leading the man into his home.

He looks down at himself, realizing he was only clothed in tattered rags.

"Jakotsu's into fashion and all that, so he steals clothing by the ton. Take your pick from the basket in the corner." The warrior pointed to a basket filled with lavish and neatly folded clothes, most of them fit for a warrior but some a bit too extravagent for battle. He patted Malakai on the back once more before moving towards the cooking portion of the large home, hoping to find Jakotsu. "Make yourself at home!" he yelled back at the newly revived warrior, chucking Banryuu into the corner for the time being.

Malakai nods and turns back for a moment, looking out over the mountains as though he'd heard something. Swish swish swish! He definitely heard it that time and recognizes it, holding out his hand in time to catch the rapidly spinning Dusk by the shaft. A grin crosses his tattooed face as he feels the familiarity of his favorite weapon in his hand again. Whole once again, Malakai shuts the doors to the villa and rummages through the mass of clothing, pulling out a pair of black pants striped down the sides of each leg with white. He sets that aside for himself and delves back in, finding a matching belt with light weight waist guards, setting that aside, he delves in once more and finds to his surprise a full arm-length light plate armor. "Jakotsu must have raided an english caravan." He mutters to himself, his eyes still somewhat wide with surprise as he takes the crimson piece of armor. Looking around, he sighs, deciding this would be the best place to change into his new clothes, removing the rags and replacing them his new clothing. "What am I missing..." he wonders to himself, looking down at himself. Noticing his now human feet, he adds, "Boots..." with a less than enthusiastic look on his face. Finding a pair of light weight leather boots, he slips them on and looks for a mirror to check himself.

Bankotsu came back in with a smirk, "Jakotsu's getting something ready, you're going to be surprised." As he stepped back in, the weapon in Malakai's hand caught his eye. "Nice looking friend you've got there, got any special moves?"

Jakotsu stood next to the fire humming slightly, a special brand of chili brewing in the large pot. He added a dash of spice to the mixture and stirred again slightly. He'd promised Bankotsu a special dish for their newest brother, and there was no way he was letting him down.
'Maybe he'll be cute,' he thought to himself with a playful laugh as he added a dash of salt. 'One can only hope.'

"Nice looking friend you've got there, got any special moves?" Malakai chuckles, looking down at the wickedly curved scythe as he says, "Dusk is my companion, I've always been able to count on it when I'm in a pinch... and yes.. it has some special abilities. Like this, for instance." He adds, squeezing the shaft of the scythe slightly, causing the blade to open up to it's demonic state, crimson and gold eyes looking around wildly for a moment before locking onto Bankotsu. At the same moment, the veins around Malakai's eyes pulse and his irises turn solid white as Dusk's special ability activates, allowing Malakai to see in, around, and through everything at once. His eyes move through the villa, merely by habit as he had already seen Jakotsu the moment he activated the ability. "Chile, eh? Hope it's hot enough, hehehe." Retracting the ability, Dusk assumes it's normal state once more and Malakai's eyes turn back to a feiry orange.

He can give it to you any way you like," he laughed lightly, seemingly unaware of the innuendo. He turned toward the cooking spot and called out. "Is the chili almost ready, man?" He turned back to Malakai and sat down in place Indian style, motioning for him to do the same. "Banryuu and I have been fighting together for as long as I can remember. We've been through the best of times and the worst together. It's my baby."

Jakotsu laughed and smiled around the corner, winking purposefully at the two of them. "It's just about finished guys, keep your pants on...or better yet, take them off," he giggled lightly, putting the finishing touches on the chili before pulling two bowls out and filling them to the brim with the near-boiling liquid.
He placed them both in one arm, then filled a pair of glasses with a fine brew. Taking the two mugs in his hands and walking out to the both of them. "Here you go, stud," he winked at Bankotsu before turning towards Malakai. "Hey, you are cute!"

Malakai stutters a thanks and sits at the table, cross-legged. He nods to Bankotsu and sets Dusk at his side, his hand lingering on the shaft for a few moments before moving to his lap. His fiery eyes look over the food that was brought by Jakotsu and a grin crosses his lips. Taking a spoon in his hand, he casually tastes the chili then cringes, muttering, "Too cold" Shivering, he holds one hand over the bowl and concentrates, a moment passes before the bowl noticeably begins rocking at the stew inside boils violently. Ignoring the spoon this time, he wraps both hands around the bowl and pulls it to his lips, guzzling the chili. As he does this, sizzling can be heard as the insanely hot broth slides down his throat. A small trickle pours from the edge of his mouth and drips to the table, as it does so, the table smokes at the touch. With a satisfied smile, Malakai sets the bowl back on the table and wipes his mouth off. "Now that's good chili." He comments, standing to his feet and looking around. Now full and clothed, he seems to be contented as he grins openly and asks, "So... anyone up for a little sparring match?"
