However, instead of successfully killing the boy, he ended up nearly dying from the boy's surprising capability. He thought he was going to die and was thus surprised when the boy didn't kill him. Erina had no trouble with her classes and lessons, rather surprising her teachers and instructors with her intellect. She was tested and confirmed to be a genius, which made sense why her family had been targeted by chinese terrorists, who were linked to the coup members that took over the Chinese Federation without much bloodshed.
