Gaia Name : Nathanial Essex

Character Name : Nathanial Essex

Code Name : Mister Sinister

Alignment : Bad

Powers :
Known Powers: Following genetic alteration by Apocalypse, Sinister possesses a wide array of powers. Over the years, Sinister has used the genetic material of other mutants to grant himself a vast array of powers.

Cellular Shapeshifting: ability to control every molecule of his body, allowing him to assume the form of any one he wishes. He once reduced himself into a semi-liquid state.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Mister Sinister is able to rapidly regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. Sinister can fully heal from injuries that result in massive tissue damage or loss such as multiple gunshot wounds, slashes, puncture wounds, broken bones, and severe burns within a matter of moments.

Superhuman Stamina: Mister Sinister's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of ordinary humans. He can exert himself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to affect him.

Superhuman Strength possesses superhuman strength, which may be a product of his shapeshifting.Sinister is able to lift/press about 10 tons.

Superhuman Reflexes: Mister Sinister's reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the human body's natural limits.

Telepathy: He can read minds and project his own thoughts into the minds of others within a radius of 250 miles (on Earth). With extreme effort he can greatly extend that radius.

Mental Paralysis: ability to induce temporary mental or physical paralysis Mind Control: capable of controlling the minds of others but only one at a time and if the target is in his physical presence.

Dilate Power: ability to mentally paralyze a foe he's touching and the ability to psionically "turn off" the superpowers of any mutant.

Telekinesis: possesses telekinetic abilities enabling him to levitate and manipulate living beings, inanimate objects, and to some extent energy, psionically. He can “lift” as much as 10 tons of weight and possibly even more and can enable himself to “fly” at great speed.

Concussive Blasts: can fire blasts of concussive force from his hands or from the dimaond-shaped scarlet mark on his forehead.

Gaia Name: Co-Head Emma Frost
Character Name: Emma Frost
Codename: ...Emma Frost
Alignment: Good
Powers: Telepathy: Frost has displayed the telepathic standards of broadcasting and receiving thoughts, mind-control, altering perceptions and memories, projection of offensive blasts of psionic energy causing mental pain or unconsciousness, astral projection, mind switching, brain engram modification, mental sedation of unconscious victims, induction of mental pain by touch, and limited pychometry. Frost is also very adept at performing 'psychic surgery': the utilization of pin-pointed psionic energy to exert absolute control over individual brain functions such that the physical form can be manipulated (i.e., injuries healed, disabilities repaired, the nervous system, etc), a sub-skill of telepathy unusual for even the most powerful of telepaths, but one that Emma is keen to utilize whenever the occasion benefits her. Frost's abilities rival that of Charles Xavier, her incredible power and conniving ways are evident in her first appearance whereby she manages to capture and sedate him. Frost has been cited as a "World-class telepath" and a "Psi of the Highest Order" capable of extraordinary telepathic feats.

Diamond Skin: Furthermore, as a consequence of continued mutation, Frost now possesses the ability to transform her body into a flexible organic diamond form. In many ways, this is similar to Colossus' organic steel form. She must transform all parts of her body, rather than selectively transforming certain areas and can remain in this form for an indetermined amount of time. If she is rendered unconscious, Frost's body will automatically transform into its normal state. This transformation also alters Frost's personality, causing her to become rather cold hearted and to lose her empathy for others.

Superhuman Strength: In her diamond form, Frost's physical strength is increased to superhuman levels. At her peak, she is able to lift approximately 2 tons.

Superhuman Stamina: While transformed, Frost's muscle tissue becomes infinitely more efficient than the organic musculature of normal humans, or most other organic beings for that matter. Her muscles produce almost no fatigue toxins during physical activity, granting her almost limitless superhuman stamina, or at least until or unless she is forced to resume her normal state.

Superhuman Durability: Frost's diamond form renders her highly resistant to most forms of physical injury. She is able to resist great impact forces, such as being repeatedly struck with superhuman force, without being injured. Her body is also resistant to temperature extremes, able to withstand temperatures as cold as -320 degrees Farenheit or as hot as approximately 7,362 degrees Farenheit before her form begins to melt. Frost is also self contained while transformed, requiring no food, water or oxygen.

Throughout the years, it has been hinted that Frost is also a latent telekinetic. To save herself from Trevor Fitzroy, Jean Grey's displaced psyche was able to use Frost's brain to generate a strong telekinetic force field and fly while it inhabited the White Queen's body. During the Onslaught Saga, Frost unwittingly levitated several kitchen utensils while having a bad dream. When the mutant known as Synch "synched" with Frosts powers, he was able to use them to levitate several objects and individuals in the room. This phenomenon was referred to as telekinesis and credited to Frost's psi powers.

Olivier LeBeau

PostPosted: Fri Jun 26, 2009 10:10 pm

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Gaia Name: Olivier LeBeau
Character Name: Olivier LeBeau
Codename: Olivier Raven
Alignment: Good
Powers:
Olivier, like his mother, has the power of 'involuntary absorption'. Breaking it down this means that with skin on skin contact the boy can absorb everything out of a sentient being. He can absorb their knowledge, their personality, their energy, their memories, powers, physical abilities, and their talents. They do not have to be human, by any means, they simply have to be alive. The person under the affects do not have to be human, either, he'll get everything, no matter what. There are, however, unfortunate side effects to absorbing the memories and personality traits of other people: You end up with the emotional side effects that go with them. It's not fun. He is also able to absorb psionic abilities.

Like Rogue, Ollie is able to hold more than one set of powers at once. There is a lot of emotional strain that comes with this, though, and it isn't something he likes to do on a regular basis. The people he absorbs? They stay in his head, after all, and he's not keen on keeping them there. As in the rest of the scneario, Olivier can also absorb physical traits that would not be normal to a normal human being. If he were to touch Wolverine he would develop a set of bone claws for a short period of time. The power transfer is generally temporary, lasting only for a set duration of time based on the length he held on to the other person. The longer he touched the more likely it is to keep those powers. (Two seconds can give him anything up to ten or more minutes while an entire minute could give him a lifetime.)

Although he steals the energy from others, unlike Rogue Olivier does not generally render the person on the receiving end unconscious, able to control his powers on a much more advanced scale than she can, so much so that he generally doesn't need to wear any kind of protective clothing. He'll wear gloves occasionally, however, just because they look cool.

Although much less skilled in doing so, Olivier can recall powers that he's absorbed in the past, just the same as Rogue. They're all there in the back of his mind, simply dormant until he fires them up again. He his control over this is significantly less than the control his mother has developed over the years, though he so rarely does this with Rico there to be an unlimited power source to him that he doesn't generally need to worry about it. He can also fly, the extent of this ability is unknown.

Note: I'm taking liberties with his telepathy. It was never explained in the comics. If it, eventually, gets explained and there is an issue with things not being canon I'll change this.

Like Rogue with Miss Marvel, Olivier had a run in with Cable that left him with a lot more power than he could handle at the time. Touching the man for way, way too long Olivier was granted nearly everything the telepath had; and the boy did not want. First and foremost he is able to read others' minds, as well as project their thoughts to others in small, and great amounts. When this power is in use his left eye glows bright blue, and Ollie has a broad range of abilities at his disposal. He has poor control over these abilities at current, and is in the process of undergoing training. He mainly uses his basic telepathy for contact purposes.
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Bio: (Not updated to match the most recent issue of GeNext. I'm lazy, I know. I wrote it all out myself because there's no linked bio anywhere online yet. I also merged X-Men: The End and GeNext, since, even though they're two different universes, they seem to follow the same history minus a couple of changes.

PS. Stole some of it from another place I play Olivier, copypaste ftw. I can change things that seem to be a problem.)

The first born of two children, Ollie was a happy, healthy, incredibly spoiled child until his sister was born. (And even after, actually.) Remy and Marie were delighted, they'd been blessed with both a boy, and a girl, and apparently in the proper televised order at that, equally loving their children and raising them accordingly.

No, there were no barbies in Ollie's childhood. Not for him at least, thanks, though he did mutilate a few of his sister's along the way. He was a bright boy from the get-go, and determined too, and despite the development of a temper his father took him under his wing to train him in the more refined fighting arts. While his sister dabbled in music, he took up martial arts and fencing, at the request of his grandfather. ("Boy," he'd said, "You're the spitten' image of your daddy. Pick up that sword there and come fight Jean-Luc.")

'course he got his a** whooped the first time. Probably the reason he stuck with it, determination and pride. It was the driving factor of the majority of his early years. Where Bekka seemed to be perfect, and excel in everything in the face of their parents. She was more inclined, from an early age, toward the hero business while Olivier just wanted to be a kid. While their parents weren't the sort to play favorites there was still that jealousy factor in there. Bekka seemed to cling to their father like glue.

Ollie took what he got when he got it. It wasn't one of those 'ignoring one kid for the other' things, at all, it was just a matter of learning how to manage your time.

Olivier, with his sister, grew up in Valle Soleda, in California, though they'd spend the occasional Holiday in Louisiana, with Remy's foster family. They grew up alongside the Frost-Summers children, as well as others, as one rather large family, and Ollie spent the first eleven or so years of his life having a damn good time of things, learning about the X-Men, about his parents' past excursions, all of that. Then one day.. it all fell apart.

His father, after making a deal with Sinister, kidnapped him, his sister, and the Frost children, putting them in a containment cage. The six of them were left to their own devices, though Olivier, with his temper problem, ended up egging on Dark Beast in to nearly killing him at one point. Thankfully Sinister and Gambit stepped in. There was a lot of arguing to be had between the children, and eventually a plan devised that involved Bekka pretending to have got herself hurt, which drew the guards in. All capable children jumped in to action, and were it not for Sinister's orders not to harm them they would have been killed. Gambit stepped in and saved them, though not without a price -- all deals with Sinister were officially broken and it was a matter of getting them to safety. Along the way they were seperated, Bekka and Gambit going through a portal, leaving Olivier and the Frost-Summers children to fend for themselves.

Rogue managed to contact them through Megan after absorbing Emma's powers, assuring them that she was on their way with everything she'd managed to get from Megan's mind, though she nearly came too late. The group of them were cornered by a trio of cybernetic dogs looking like they'd come out of Donald Pierce's wet dream. Olivier, despite not having a snowball's chance in Hell during the summer, opted to step up and try to take them on, though Rogue showed up just in time to completely destroy them instead. Urging the children to safety after receiving the information from Olivier on the location of Gambit and Bekka she went to find them.

Only moments later Bekka arrived through a portal, in tears, but otherwise unharmed. Olivier clung to her, and together they waited for the return of their parents.

Who didn't return. It was Mystique instead who found the two of them huddled together with the Frost-Summers children, and it was she who told them of the unfortunate demise of their mother, and what was thought to be the death of their father. She informed them of the promise made to take care of her grandchildren, and returned with them to Valle Soleda when the dust had settled in an attempt to fix the damages done to her now orphaned grandchildren. They were met by Gambit, a survivor of the blast in space.

A pick up was attempted on their lives, but nothing was the same as they buried Rogue near the home they'd grown up in, though they still tried. Gambit tried to continue on with the X-Men, staying with them through the duration of the school being rebuilt, but eventually it was just too much and after a falling out with Scott he readied his children to leave. Olivier declined. He wanted to stay at the school, he wanted to stay with Megan.

Bekka was furious. She screamed at him, threw things, cried, hit him, called him every terrible name she could think of and then some, and told him he was a traitor, that he'd ruined their family, broken them up... She gave hin an ultimatum, and he left. Megan and Olivier had been living a Romeo and Juliet romance up to that point, and he'd have it no longer. He had his friends, and his life at the school and nearly lost touch with his family after that. He was the one that contacted his sister from then on out, and only once every few months just to check up on things. He never spoke with his father...

Olivier rebuilt his life at the school with friends and family there, finding family in his squadmates Rico, Pavel, No-Name, and Becka. Rico, with whom he was closest to, fast becamse his best friend and partner in training sessions, the two of them "sharing" powers and learning about one another's past. There isn't likely to be anyone that knows Rico better than Olivier, and vice versa, though Megan may be a close second on behalf of being his girlfriend and all that...

The group of them managed to scrape by in school unnoticed by any "bad guys" up until No-Name ran away one night and they chased her down, back to Valle Soleda only to be intercepted mid battle by what looked like X-Men from another dimension after No-Name. The group was transported to Genosha, which dredged up some unfortunate memories for poor Olivier. Soon after a fight was engaged, and despite having the odds against them the children managed to defeat the "X-Men" with the help of Wicked in the long run, and settled in for a long wait.

Eventually Megan, with Beast, and Valerie Cooper not far behind, arrived on the scene to take care of things, though the world wasn't going to be quiet for long...

Also... I know Olivier's current comic book look goes like so.. but I kind of like the design they scrapped. D:!!! I'm sorry.

Gaia Name: Scarlet W1tch
Character Name: Wanda Maximoff-Sabah Nur
Codename: Scarlet Witch
Alignment: Lawful neutral
Powers: The Scarlet Witch can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects; this power was formerly limited to the creation of "hex-spheres" of reality-disrupting quasi-psionic force to cause molecular disturbances in a target's probability field, resulting in spontaneous combustion, deflection of objects in flight, and so on. She later became able to alter reality on a far greater scale, creating entire armies of enemies from nowhere. Although the Scarlet Witch has been trained in basic sorcery techniques, she lacks the specialized mystic training required to fully control her power.
Bio: Wanda Maximoff (Earth 616)

Gaian Additions:
After being visited by too many people to ignore, Wanda's memories began to return. After a short time, she returned to New York City, buying a small house and living an anonymous life, though discreetly seeking out certain people in the super hero community, such as her sons, whom she was surprised to discover were alive.

The mutant supremest Apocalypse tracked her down and asked her to join his quest, and she agreed to join on the condition that he attempt to take a peaceful path. The two began to grow close emotionally, eventually leading to their engagement and marriage

Who you are: Pryde_shadowcat

Name: Katherine Ann Pryde "Kitty"

Codename:Shadowcat

Alignment: Good

Powers:Kitty Pryde is a mutant with the ability to “phase” through solid matter by shifting her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. Kitty can phase her clothing along with herself, and through practice has learned to phase other objects and people without harm to them. For all intents and purposes, Kitty is intangible whilst phasing, however she is still vulnerable to psionic or mystical attacks. Certain forms of energy can also disrupt her phased state.

When Kitty phases through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupts the system's workings. This includes the electrical impulses found in the human brain. Kitty can phase part or all of her body through another living being without harm to herself, though the other being can be rendered unconscious as a result. Kitty also has the potential to kill another being by phasing them into a solid object and then releasing them, causing them to solidify whilst still within the object.

Kitty passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which she is moving before phasing. Since she is unable to breathe while phasing, she can only continuously phase through solid objects - as when she travels underground - as long as she can hold her breath. Kitty can keep her phased form at rest in relation to the rotation of the Earth upon its axis, thus allowing her to assume a ground speed of the length of a football field and a half every second. Kitty can also walk on air whilst phasing.

Kitty has trained herself to reflexively assume a phased state at any indication of danger, such as a loud noise like a gunshot, in order to protect herself.
