And so, with the final days of the war, and with it our empire crumbles. It has been nearly fifty thousand years since we had made this continent our home. And because of those filthy Sri-Kyruin we have been brought to this climatic day, where we discovered our magics had undone us, and that the land about us was slowly being drained, in a final attempt to survive, we have sent others to colonize other areas besides the ones we live upon now. Well they search, we fight. What will the new morn bring upon us? And so we weather the constant heat that our magics have wrought. Our history possibly never known to those colonizing the continent next to ours.

Hildruth bearer of Garthyaik the Darkblade, and Izthlin the Lightbringer. Had been fighting the Rythdrillnian's for years. Those who invaded us and brought war upon us. It was one of those nights that he encountered a small village of them, that he attacked with a fury almost as dark as Garthyaik. During the battle he was forced onto a rooftop where he battle seven of their champions, he slayed three to their own folly. But as he fought the third, his swords -Immortal enemies of each other- gave his opponent a grazing wound, each within an inch of the other across the chest. As Hildruth backed away to regain his footing, his opponent was gripped by the powers of each blade, each of which were meant to kill, either with darkness or with the power of light. As they fought, the body of his opponent began to change, on his right side, scales of a blue-white hue formed, on the left, scales the color of night formed, where they met, in the center, their color changed to that of a ruddy brown.
Its sword changed as well, the blade and hilt grew scales to cover them, and last the creature sprouted wings, of the same color as its scales on each side. The face had changed into one nearly resembling a lizardman. With a horrible shriek, it launched itself at one of its former allies, and well its sword missed, its clawed hand tore a bloody gash in his shoulder. Hildruth was shocked as that one began to change into a Sri-Kyruin as well.

Description of a Sri-Kyruin.
A Sri-Kyruin stands at the same height as a human, the colors of its scaled body separated by a ruddy brown streak of scales. With wings of the same color as both sides of its body, its wings a strange indeed, as they are not feathered or resemble the scaled wings of dragons, they are long lengths of bone that are covered in scales.
They resemble lizards to a point, and are generally quick-tempered.


Story;

You find your selves adventuring during the height of the war, hiring yourselves out as mercenaries at times, and just simply adventuring for the sake of it. Enemies are as plentiful as is treasure.


Rules;
AD&D rules, mostly 1.0 with 2.0 mixed in.
Start at level five, with 1,000 Gold.
Two minor magic items, and if you are a magic-user PM me before you buy your items.
