((This was also written freshman year 8D -did not bother fixing it-))

In theory, lots of things existed before the new age of Auldelen and Elen on Neo-gaea (according to the RP, the present day of you and I). Deities had already existed, and was something that rooted from archaea-gaea milleniums back. Auldelens, which actually evolved from a mixture of nymphs, mythological creatures, a snippet of humans, and more, were citizens of Archaea-gaea until shunned in the early days of history. They were dubbed the "the mythos.", and were kept out of human civilizations. Eventually, they found home, and "the mythos" became their book of adventures---later, the Auldelen holy text.

Auldelen myth concludes that, when they found home, it lay in the path of the mirror (which does, in fact, exist in Neo-gaea), and in crossing it, they came upon a place never before seen---lacking the scarlet dirt of archaea-gaea that they had been banished from. Regardless, it was a place where they could settle down, and with the coming of this new planet, a new deity named Kyrin also originated.

Kyrin existed and was reportedly seen in three different forms, and he resided in the realm of the morning star. Auldelens had to then worship Kyrin to live in Neo-Gaea without his trouble. However, fierce believers of the Mythos Gods (the greek ones)---a religion that stuck with them since archaea-gaea, caused feuds. Some found loyalty with Kyrin, while others remained loyal to the traditional religion. This caused a great war to break out, which nearly wiped out a few tribes.

All nymphs and mythos of every race were exterminated, with the exception of water nymphs (they make up webwing royalty). Fauns crossbred the earthens. Fire and Flamestungs...not sure how they originated just yet. The Darkwings were apparently descendants of the Furies, explaining their rogue-like behavior and bestiality. Finally, the Gorgonite, whose history is very vague, are cousins of the Illusionists and, through rumor and false tales, affiliated with parasites and vampires (which makes no sense, because they have more snake-like traits than bat-like).

Also, the Illusionist and the Whitewing tribes (which were those who fought most fiercely in contrasting beliefs) actually merged together, bringing both tribes to extinction. It appears that Whitewings and Illusionists crossbred to form Royal Winds, the only tribe that can vaguely represent two tribes that no longer exist.

Royal Winds are called thusly, namely because it addresses the two parties from which they come from. The Whitewing cardinals fiercely believed in the ways of the Mythos Gods---putting their faith in the stars and believing that the gods manifested within a person, while believing Kyrin to be a heresy. The Illusionist cardinals, on the other hand, were suck-ups to Kyrin, and despite that, fiercely believed that Kyrin was their one true god, as they believed Mythos Gods had somehow abandoned them with the migration into Neo-Gaea. Illusionists were the "royals" of Kyrin---the mandate of heaven, if you will, and the winds proved that the Whitewing belief still remained.

Armies fought one another fiercely, though majority of the Illusionist and Whitewing population was torn apart between choices. These two tribes were the most aware of the situation at hand, and therefore, were indecisive. Upon treason of their tribe, the remains of these two tribes ran off, and eventually coexisted and crossbred. By the time the war was reaching its end due to lack of soldiers, the Royal Winds---then seen as a simple mixed tribe---overthrew the remaining cardinals of their tribes and took over as one.

Royal Winds are thusly so. They are not called Royal Illusionists, as their beliefs did not last long. Despite the fact that neither side won their "holy war", it didn't change the fact that eventually, Kyrin's idea of one god was deemed ridiculous, and the Mythos Gods became the main belief. Eventually, the Whitewings had won, but by that time, it didn't matter. Religion was spread freely, and some believed in Kyrin, while others did not. Depending on the area at hand, beliefs changed. Some even believed in both.

Kyrin's Three Forms

Now, back to the idea of Kyrin's three forms:

When the Auldelens came, the first form of Kyrin they saw was Kyrin Dahlia, and he had been spotted along a flat mesa. Kyrin Dahlia was a toddler, whose wings spread out from his hands, similar to those of Egyptian art. However, these wings also spread from his head in a Mohawk-ish style, and carried a long tail with these same feathers. These feathers were orange and yellow, and on occasions, became translucent. He also had giant, black hands, of which were proportioned a bit too largely for his body. However, they could grab a person and choke them to death, I'm sure.

The Auldelens, not knowing what this was, approached it. Kyrin flew off---leaving one simple message carved in the rock of the mesa with his giant fingers:

"The world is a disaster when you're in it."

The second form of Kyrin that had been seen was Kyrin Lunes, which appeared when the Auldelens began to create civilization. Kyrin Lunes came upon the Auldelens; the Illusionists, to be exact, and he said to them "why is my land defiled by worms---holes carved in my precious apple?"

Auldelens look up, and see Kyrin Lunes. Kyrin Lunes is the singing form of Kyrin, the speaking form of Kyrin, as well as the form of Kyrin that is often drawn. He was the form of Kyrin that spoke to the Auldelens, therefore, the most important. With the coming of Kyrin Lunes, he bade that all of them, in exchange for defiling his land, were to pledge eternal fealty to him as a god. He proved to them he was even a god, by bringing the moon upon them to the point that it became giant. The Auldelens, in fear of being crushed, subjected to him as their new deity. However, those who were not at the scene were reluctant, and did not believe in Kyrin. That's why the war started, blah blah.

The third and final form of Kyrin is Kyrin Ra, which is Kyrin in his full glory. Kyrin Ra is golden, and is the opposite form of Kyrin Lunes, which represented the moon. Kyrin Ra is Kyrin in his full god form. Kyrin Ra is considered his true form, and the one form in which he is summoned. When the Auldelens summon him for the divine hearing (a hearing that takes place twice a year), Kyrin comes forth in Ra form. He does not speak in Ra form, but communicates mentally. Remember, Kyrin Lunes is the only form in which he can speak.

Despite all this, Kyrin is, in fact, a heresy---what the Whitewings suspected from the beginning. As it is later realized, in the realm of the morning star, Kyrin is, in fact, the spirit of a star---and Kyrin, in a way, represents supernova. Therefore, he is an angry, jealous, and dishonest. He's not even a god at all, in fact. But we will find that out later.

Presently, Neo-gaea is melting. The Auldelens, frightened (they are adapted to rather cold temperatures) are torn between three decisions:

1. invade their neighbor, archaea-gaea---they find that justifiable because their ancestors once lived there before being banished. Queen Auldhelna chooses to follow this plan.

2. form treaties with archaea-gaea---the more peacekeeping people suggest this. A few Auldelens have gone down to understand Elens and enlighten them with the fact that they are not really dangerous. (crew for this available---will be released later in the future)

3. use the egg of naples---though it is a myth of Mythos, the egg of naples is known to Auldelens as the story of how things were created. They hope to seek this egg or eggs in the near future, but at the moment, few people considered that idea, and even less believe in it.
