Bards, like Majjes, Sajjes, and Druids, have been morphed from giddy epic songwriters to people that ward off Auldelens. The job of a bard is very difficult, because unlike the M, S, or D, Bards ruin Auldelens internally.

Auldelen blood is not crucial to their system, however, their harmony is. Bards kill them by messing up this harmony. An Auldelen harmony carries out a certain string of commands. Such as, if an Auldelen wanted to use his abilities on a certain something, a harmony from their body would call it forth. If a bard were to mess up that harmony, they could play the inverse of it and maybe that ability would be targetted on the Auldelen's body.

However, harmonies are not that easy to hear. Bards usually have to know which Auldelen to target. Usually, bards have to find someone who appears suspicious. Then they have to get close enough to the target to strike them (bludgeon, you know, something hard) or hear their heartbeat. When an Auldelen receives a wound (such as a cut or hit), a sound emanates from them. This can also be heard by putting an ear to their heart.

Once it is confirmed that said person is an Auldelen, the bard seeks the help of militia. The bard memorizes the note or song heard when the target was observed, and then they play the song in their presence. It usually causes the said Auldelen to be very weakened and confused depending on whether the melody was the right one. It is then clubbed and stabbed (I forgot to mention that being shot doesn't affect Auldelens as much).

Bards, like M,D, and S, are for hire and in high demand. However, it is a difficult, tiring job.
