Despite being blind, the level of Chloe’s clairvoyance gives her a basic understanding of what her surroundings are like and she can get around reasonably well without help. Often people don’t realize she’s blind when they first meet her.
The dead have a tendency to flock to her and she sometimes is able to speak to or communicate with them (and they with her), learning things she wouldn’t otherwise know by herself or with her clairvoyance.

Personality: Chloe is odd, to say the least. She has both maturity and knowledge so far beyond her years that most people find her a bit unnerving. She is very kind and unusually understanding and tolerant of the failings of the people around her, generally finding life to be somewhat humorous even in its more tragic moments.
Chloe has a tendency to talk to herself. A lot. This is partially because she’s often having conversations with spirits that no one else can see or hear and possibly because she’s often aware of and is seeing/hearing event taking place in far off places but continually forgets what is happening right near her and what is happening far away. As such, despite her blindness, she occasionally flails at things that aren’t there but that she is sort of aware of in her head.
Most people who don’t know her believe that she is mad or prone to fits.
Short background/history: Chloe grew up in the circus. She knows no other life. Her mother, stepfather and two half sisters are also performers there.

Chloe has been a bit weird from birth but was always accepted by the other performers even when it became clear she had a unique and sometimes frightening gift. All of them help her hide the exact truth about her powers and how significant they are behind the facade of a simple fortune teller who reads palms and tea leaves.

Though Chloe has been blind from birth, she has a great love of dancing and has learned to do it well enough that when she is not running her fortune telling booth, she's performing as a dancer in the show, doing unique solo dances (because she needs the floor completely clear so as not to trip).

Conversely, when she's not dancing, she's running a small fortune telling booth. She uses palm reading and tea leaves to help order her thoughts and give her abilities direction otherwise she would never be able to single out the fortune of just the person in front of her.

Also, I had forgotten to bring this up the last time we talked, but the Saga does have gypsies in the story. Because I don't know much about them and you have a better idea on their customs and everything than I do, would you mind putting down a worldbuilding post on them?

2. Well, I think it would be fine for other performers to know about it. The circus crew is pretty close-knit there, and I'm sure there's others with weird quirks there that are willing to defend her and hide the secret. As for the fake methods, the only thing I can seem to think is that her psychic abilities also allow her other ways to tell fortunes to become accurate.
