Abilities (if star provides it): Trevyn's blessing permits him to sense changes in the weather. He can tell if a storm is approaching or when it will rain or the winds will change as well as when the temperature will rise or fall. It's a very natural sort of thing with him and despite that he is never wrong, it's not once occurred to him that this is some kind of gift. He doesn't get tingly spider senses or anything overt like that, he can just tell.

Personality: Trevyn is easy going and friendly and easily wins people over. He has a very strong sense of justice that often overrides his common sense and he doesn't quite know how to leave well enough alone. When he's convinced he's right, he can be very stubborn and rarely backs down from a fight even when he's outnumbered, something that's got him into trouble more times than he can count.
Short background/history: Trevyn grew up in a happy home with a very large family--he has eight siblings. He became a bard to combat the increasing threat of Auldelen invasion. He developed a strong prejudice against Auldelen--not because they were different or frightening but because he truly disagreed and believed that all of them were against Elens.
This prejudiced extended to Halflings until a fateful night that his life was saved by a Halfling. Hating owing such a huge debt to someone he considered an enemy, Trevyn took to tagging along after Sethrian with the intent to pay him back and wash away the distaste of having been saved by someone tainted with Auldelen blood.
Instead, over the course of the months they traveled together, Trevyn came to appreciate the difficulty of those caught between two worlds and loved in neither one. Initially, Sethrian's rude behavior was off putting and convinced Trevyn that he was right about Auldelens and Halflings but he gradually came respect Sethrian as an individual not defined by his heritage and eventually began to even consider Seth his friend. After saving Sethrian's life, the two continued to travel together, forging a very unlikely friendship that has now continued for several years.
And it was this friendship that made Trevyn realize it might be possible for Auldelens and Elens to overcome their differences and live together in peace. No longer able to consider Auldelens or Halflings as being incapable of feeling human emotion, Trevyn worked to help Sethrian overcome his own hatred for his people and truly wishes to do whatever he can to help establish peace between the two races.

Anything else: Trevyn is something of a very gentle womanizer. He has been in many relationships due to his travels but never intentionally takes advantage or forces his way into a woman's life.
He's considered very good looking and charming in spite of his scar. And the scar itself is often a topic of conversation--he tends to make up very creative stories about its origins, especially when drunk.
