So I posted my own banishing ritual in the Grimoire thread. Who uses such Banishing Rituals (they don't have to be similar to mine) and why? And if you do not use them, why do you not?

Personally I use mine whenever I begin a ritual and whenever I end a ritual. It clears the space of any energy that I do not want to be using in my work, be in meditation, stillness exercises, divination, what have you. I sometimes use it before I go to bed and upon waking, which I have gotten out of the habit of, bad lama.

To the one that I serve

I only know one banishing ritual and I have only used it a handful of times. Though I'm sure I'll learn something new next month in the lesson about protection magic.

I noticed your banishing ritual. It looks interesting and it seems like you put a lot of thought into it.
I sometimes do a simple banishing ritual just to clear away negative energy and whatnot. Usually it is tailored to the situation and made up on the spot and never the same every time.

Looks like I'm going to start using a variation on the LBRP.

Nope. I sweep if I feel the need, sometimes I smudge if I feel the need. I've done big things involving energy too but only when moving to a new place and they're not rituals. They're magic. And none of that has anything to do with asking people to leave.

Do you have a specific way you sweep and smudge when you use them?

The different rituals I use depend on what I am trying to get rid of. Sometimes it is as simple as turning something over in my hand.

I can banish my partner from the house by lighting sage, but I don't think that's what you meant.

I feel that my path is less about banishing things and more about sanctifying things, I mean, less about kicking stuff out and more about ordering what is already here or transforming things that are present.

To the one that I serve

What would a banishing ritual include?
