Sexual orientation: Straight
Personality:
Kaye is a very musically-oriented person, which is not surprising with what he sells. He's also a very jovial, mischievous kind of guy.
He's often watchful, rash, and protective, sometimes even possessive if things don't go his way, though all of it is mainly for the sake of those he cares for. Because of this, he made his half-sister, Ive, stay in the Mandala Train. He knows she is a halfling and does not want her to be endangered.
Short background/history:
Kaye played the lute as Ive danced to his songs on the roads of towns, villages, and cities, making money off their music long before their careers took separate paths. The two intend to gather enough money to own a home and have a place of their own. At the time, Ive's making money through dancing in the circus while Kaye's scraping what little he can from his aunt.
Kaye and Ive shared a common non-gypsy father, though Kaye's mother was a gypsy while Ive's was Auldelen. Though both their parents are gone, Kaye managed to get into Djemaa El Fna through his aunt on his mother's side.
Kaye's occupation roots back to his family's long years of making lovely quality instruments whose beauty as well as rich sound captivated many of their buyers.
However, Kaye has somewhat of a resentment towards the Auldelens, as he maintains belief that they killed his biological parents when he younger, since their bodies were never found. However, he is grateful for the life he has today, so he tries his best to put aside the enmity.
Affiliations (relationships, alignment with various societies, et cetera): Djemaa El Fna
Anything else:
He normally doesn’t dress much but his lower half; as like most boys, he wants to have pride in his fitness. Mostly, Kaye decorates himself with cultural jewelry and charms, mainly because of slight superstition, personal value, and the bond he shares with his possessions.
