The RP is going very well, and I'm very excited to keep going! OOC, though, it might be fun to get some group discussion/project going. Do you all want to work on something together? I'm thinking like - a contest, single thread RP, or some other issue that anybody wants to address? I'm open to any ideas from anyone who wants to contribute.

Well let me just say that the fresh blood Kilos has brought is much appreciated and I think that we should focus on bringing more people into our guild. That being said perhaps a single thread would be something we need to collaborate on.

Sounds good. People don't need to jump forum to forum in order to keep up with the action.
Also, there might be two or three people I could bring to the guild, but I'll have to see.

Hm, I think I'd be willing to try a single thread RP. Like I've stated in the past I find them slightly confusing but the way I learn with these things it mostly trial and error. It'd be worth a shot. Besides, the character I started (but never finished) designing probably would start off better in a non-Delmor setting. Maybe a big-ish city or something, with lots of magic mischief.
I'd say we should try it, but I probably won't be the one to start it, seeing as I know very little about designing single thread RPs.
Also, we would need to try and get word out to people outside of our lovely guild here. I noticed a good third-ish of the characters in Unsung were from our guild, and very few, if any, of the non-guild members actually joined LoSI. I guess one way to get them to join would be to have a definite ending to the single thread RP. This could encourage the RPers to join the guild in order to keep RPing in the style we do here, once the story of the single thread RP is completed. (Again, little/no experience with single thread RP, just thinking this could be a way to pull people in with the single thread idea)

All good points, Alma. I'd be willing to start/co-start the RP if that's what everyone wants to do.
And yeah, I'll have to think of a better way to encourage people to join LoSI on their own accord. I was just going to invite the people who impressed me. Maybe I'll send a small thank-you letter to anyone who joins the single thread RP with links to the guild... or the recruitment site, if we get a new one.
So for setting, you're thinking a city, Alma? So I probably won't make this related to Delmor or any of our plotlines.

Hm, yeah. A city and maybe its surrounding areas would make a pretty good setting, considering it is a super hero/villain RP. I haven't thought about it too much but when I think of stereotypical superheroes, I tend to think of cities. That in and of itself could attract people. I'd just say to throw in some kind of twist to make it different from previously mentioned stereotypical superhero story. Have the "main villain" actually be a hero or something. We need to show why LoSI is different (and amazing). :3
Also, making it not be related to any in-guild LoSI plots is understandable. I was just thinking that once the single thread plot is over, some aspects of it could be brought to Delmor. Again, haven't thought about this much (I had 2 tests [accelerated algebra II and honors chem] and a quiz [world history] today... ._. I guess since I got a 100 on that math test I don't need to worry too much but, I donno. *shrug*)

Another way we could advertise is by joining forces with other guilds. For example I'm part of a writing guild that encourages what they call "sister guilds" meaning guilds that share members.

This certainly excites me!!! I would love to have more peeps in this guild! There could be so many interesting characters and the way the guild and story are going right now is BANGING! I am loving it! So I am down for helping recruiting.
As far as single thread RPing goes... I like that... I like it a lot!

Good ideas on the plot Alma, and thanks for the support everyone! Any/All ideas are welcome. I will try to brainstorm a single-thread RP. Is anyone interested in helping with leadership/management duties?
Funky_Monk - I know what you're talking about... guild affiliations. I've only done it once, and nothing came of it because the other guild was on it's way out and none of us knew each other.
It sounds like you know more about the idea of affiliations than I do, but I definitely like it's potential. I think my attempt failed because we had no other relationship. We just linked to each other's guilds. If anyone is part of another guild that may be interested/related to LoSI in any way and would consider an affiliation, feel free to post them here. You or I could talk to the leaders of the other guilds and work out what how we can help one another. That way our affiliations don't waste away...

I think we should also Resurrect the DATUM thread and use it as well as the update thread to inform everyone of what has happened and maybe do a quick run down of important events and such that have happened so far.

Hey guys... I don't mean to be a pain in the a** but we do got to get some new people in this guild. I know I have been lazy as well and not initiating recruitment and such... but RPing has really been down guys and there is still so much of the story to go! If we had more people, it would not be this slow so this is sort of a problem. This week I have a couple of people that I am going to ask to join our guild.
ALSO... I think a side RP is a great idea. If Mayday would allow me to I could definitely get the side project started.
