Appearance: Short, just bordering on 5'1", with fairly long, dark brown hair that she tends to like to put up in a variety of hairstyles and weaves a variety of - often odd - things into. Her eyes are a pale orange. Her fingers are permanently stained by the dyes she uses. Fairly dark complexion, she favours bright clothing and jewellery but rarely bangles or rings that will get into her work.

Personality: Light-hearted and very happy-go-lucky, despite her disability. While she does get frustrated, on occassion, at not being able to hear, she usually laughs the issue off. Patient and hardworking, she is always glad if someone takes the time to learn some of her sign language.
Short background/history: Born deaf from birth, and raised by her Elen father, Rue learned quickly that patience was the best path in life. Always determinedly happy, she put up with the teasing and taunts she garnered as a child - and later as an adult - and simply gets on with her life. Not a half fighter, she prfers to stick to her work as part of the Djemaa - though if the opportunity for adventure appeared, Rue wouldn't say no.
