Please let me know what you think of the system. Where you think I can approve it. Its brand new so I know there is going to be some bugs to work out. I might change it so that the battle system only uses the 6 and 8 sided dice...since I think the fights might take to long.
Any other ideas for events, or plot lines can go here aswell. Thank you for any support.

There's a large event coming up. A competition of sorts between all the Luduses in the republic. There's a lot of coin to be one and not only that it gives the Lanistas of less popular name a chance to display the skills of their Gladiators and Slaves.
But the competition doesn't start in the Arena. The Lanistas begin to sabotage each other in order to gain better standing in the games themselves. With the approach of these games the danger is well known, assassinations of Dominus(a) and Slaves a like is not an uncommon event to take place and it usually makes the participants very tense and nervous.
Meanwhile our Dominus and Domina trade back stabs and eventually consider joining forces, since they both appear to be single. It would be an easy way for them both to gain more Gladiators at no cost and also to spread their influence by coming together.
I like the idea of Trasea having to beg her dad for more money. The idea you just gave me for that Doji was that she brings Arcus there and has him fight one of her father's slaves or guards to show that she is capable enough to do well with the money he gives her.

That sounds good. We'll need more people first though. Since so far we only have 2 fighting slaves. 1 house slave and one Medicus. So in order for it to be worthwhile we need more slaves.
I'm also going to make denarii more important like maybe at the end of each month, when I do the actitiy checks all Ludus' will be collected from for upkeep. So each will get -5 denarii...so the owners should make sure to have enough coin at the end of each month or their status will drop.
Also I'll add what the winning amount for each fighting place. Most likely:
The Arena: 10 denarii for each win
The Pits: 20 denarii
Coliseum: 30 denarii

Perhaps for some entertainment the good boss of the guild can have some minor events spring up.
I could see a scuffle occuring as the new fighting slave is ignoring the new piece of tale.. he could be called out for his manhood and get into a dice rolling fight with an npc filler gladiator that apparently already exist there.
Then the medicus can get involved in the healer etc etc with other fallout to follow.

Yea that'd be interesting.
I was also thinking of an event. The Magistrate is going to take notice of the new Ludus' spring up and will seek words with them. The best way to do that is invite them all to the Villa...where they can bring their slaves to show off. A small party type of thing.
What day do you guys think we should do that?
I need a start and end date. Preferably not a weekend as I am usually offline with my friends.

a Tues/Wed combo evening is a great time for me.. well thur too
Mondays are my one night I cannot do much.
This weekend is a major closed beta test I am involved in so again not best but I Will still be active as required and will check in.

Ok so who votes for Tues - Thurs? The event will go on through out those days, if these days are good for most.
First day being greetings and representations. Everyone can have time to socialize.
Second day fighting or healing displays. A day of leveling and the Magistrate will offer his Doctore and Medicus for fast leveling on that day
Third day continues with displays, leveling and closing. If any show the Magistrate promise he may surprise them with a gift of some denarii, or a change in status who knows.
How does that sound?
