This is how I came to power [Everyone must start somewhere. Mine start to power happened to be in the classroom. Studying politics. My father who had a lot of power as an Official assured me a place before he passed on leaving behind a huge amount of denarii, enough to last me generations to come. It all was easy after that. I acquired a magnificent building in the capital of Rome. I saw to the Villa's blooming. I have brought many things to the people, as well as blood. The only thing that I regret was that my only child, my daughter Licinia has left to rule a Ludus. It is hard for me to sit idly by while she sits in a building full of barbarians. I usually crumble to her whims but this time I will stand strong. She will receive nothing from me unless she can prove herself like all the others. I am through giving out free hand outs.
People usually think of me as a man of power and few words. I do not take crap from anyone, especially not slaves. If I see one acting unruly, I'd rather have them killed or thrown into the Pits, and buy one more fit to serve then spending the time and extra coin to break them. The ones that show promise will be sent to the Market Place for the public to buy. One of my pet peeves is beggars. I take pity on no one. I am not generous and would rather spend my money thickening my plate and on my family...then on people I see as unworthy.]
