A classic suburbanite, spoiled rich girl who lives with her businessman father in a very nice house with a sculptured lawn. One of those big-sunglasses wearing, gum-smacking, pink-lipstick and too much eyeshadow girls. She's 16, just learned to drive, and likes to take daytrips to the city to shop for clothes and visit the park and other 16-year-old girl things. Sometimes she paints Renard's nails. But he loves her.
History »
In the beginning he was referred to as "Pup #5 / Blue" in a litter of seven brothers and sisters at the local puppy mill. He was called Blue because they had made a blue mark on his ear for identification. The mill got rid of his mother soon after this birth, but Renard doesn't remember much of his life before he was sold to a mall petstore. There his days were spent in a very small box-like cage with wire on one side and plexiglass on the other. Looking out at people who would just pass him by, desperately wishing he wasn't so bored all day.
One day, baby-Renard looked up from the one squeaky toy he was allowed to have in his cage, and there was a solitary teenage girl standing opposite the plexiglass. She had come into the store with a bunch of her friends, but the others were currently crooning over another puppy. Renard shuffled up to the plexiglass and rested a tiny paw just under where the girl's hand was pressed up against the front of his cage. She hadn't come to the mall that day with intentions to buy a puppy, but the day just so happened to be her birthday and she had a pocketful of birthday money. And a few hours later, she was smuggling a fluffy puppy into her bedroom.

Wall O' Text: the Personality Trait section ! « Fabulous / Vain » Renard's main trait is Fabulous because that's how he thinks of himself. Ever since he was brought home as a puppy, Renard has been pampered, groomed, and bathed on a regular basis. He is smothered in love and compliments and hardly ever gets scolded (or he'd be scolded while the human is laughing or saying "Oh, that's so cute!" so it's not really discipline). He's quite vain and doesn't like to get dirty, but he loves baths.« Charming / Spoiled » He knows how to beg and whine and cajole a human to the point of insanity over his cuteness if they don't do what he wants them to do. When this doesn't work, he tends to get miffed. He doesn't have the best socialization skills. Used to being introduced to nice people and their nice pets in nice neighborhoods and then walking by with his Lady. He expects that others will immediately like him, and will try to disarm them by being suave and using his charm. It may not work for everyone. Hasn't often had the opportunity to play with or meet dogs outside of the 'burbs. « Excitable / Prey Drive » Renard likes to run around and have fun like any other dog! He's a herding breed, so he really really likes to chase things. Not to kill, just to.. well, to catch them. Because they're there. And he tends to be a bit nippy, especially if you have ankles. He loves playing with anything that can keep up with him: children, puppies, squirrels, cats… (even if they don't know they're playing). « Affectionate / Flirty » Growing up with a 16-year old mistress, Renard has been hugged and kissed and snuggled more times than you can imagine. It's influenced his behavior! He may invade your personal space to deliver a lick attack if he really likes you. The fact that he often gives out compliments or flirts with other dogs (or just tries to be charming) could be viewed as insincerity because he is not doing it seriously to start a relationship, but he's just… open.« Immature » Renard is just a bigger version of a puppy, really. He thinks he's invincible and that he can do anything, and likes to be the center of attention. He probably comes off as a bit scatterbrained at times, if not outright snobby. Certainly hasn't experienced much of the world but still thinks he knows everything there is to know.
