~ Elements ~
. . . . . . .
The Elementals follow their two deities, Mali, The Lady of Light, and Maki, The Lady of Darkness. They are the ones who gave birth to their society and protect them by leading their royalty. To learn more about Mali and Maki, and how the Elemental Nations were formed, please read through the History of Semesta. There are four Elemental Nations under this category:
Vatra (Fire) Economy - A military nation. It excels at creating new technology and weapon making. Warriors - Cunning and ruthless. They are skilled battle strategists that use both regular weapons as well as hidden ones.
Mesa (Water) Economy - Mostly known for its medicine and renowned doctors. It is also a place of luxury. Many resorts and vacationing areas are within it's bounds. Warriors - Defensive fighters that prefer to outsmart their opponent rather than charging right into battle.
Aria (Air) Economy - Known for both scientific and spiritual research that the other nations use. It also supplies lumber and other resources, such as oil and coal, to the other nations. Warriors - Defensive fighters that rely on speed rather than strength. They are well known for their agility and quick thinking.
Jord (Earth) Economy - An agriculture nation that supplies food for all nations. From fruits and vegetables, to meat and fish. Warriors - Fighters that rely heavily on strength. Offensive fighters that will charge straight into battle.
. . . . . . .
All the Elementals get along fairly well and have good blood between each other. Because of this, there are quite a few Elementals that are half breeds. Some Elementals have parents that came from different Nations, but they themselves can only control one Element. Sadly there are no more full bloods in either the Light or Dark Element... but maybe someday.

~ Verden ~
. . . . . . .
What started out as small, crude groups of Non-Elementals that, overall, had little to no effect on the Elementals, are now joining together under the rule of one person. This is what the rebels are called. The Verden follows their deity, Khoi, Lord of the Void. The rebels consist of all races minus Elementals. In fact they would never knowingly allow an Elemental to join their ranks in fear of them trying to take over the operation or taking them down. The Verden have had a hard time dealing with the fact that they are ruled over by people who are not of their own. For a long time they have worked side by side the Elementals, doing as they do and finally they are at a breaking point. Small groups are joining together for the common goal of taking back what should be theirs. To read more about what lead up to the formation of the Verden, please read through the History of Semesta.
Note: The Verden is actually quite a new group in Semesta, Overall, the Verden have only been active for about five years under the rule of Adele. Where their were only small groups of rebels in the years before the Verden.
Verden Economy - Works along the elementals from all nations. Skills vary among them as a whole. Warriors - Also has varied styles of fighting depending on where they're from.

~ Elemental Abilities ~
. . . . . . .
Each element has its own abilities and limitations that it works by. Each elemental’s power over their element is directly linked to their lineage. The purer their bloodline, the stronger their control. The elements follow the same rules as they do in nature.
Fire ~Is a state, process, or instance of combustion in which fuel or other material is ignited and combined with oxygen, giving off light, heat, and flame. It can burn and melt metals if hot enough. It has many practical uses such as warmth, fuel, and energy.
Can’t: Be considered lava. Lava is not fire. It may possess some of the same qualities and fire elementals can draw energy from it, but it is not the same thing. Burn without oxygen. This is the most essential source of fire. Without it, it cannot exist.
Water ~ A clear, colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid, H2O, essential for most plant and animal life and the most widely used of all solvents. Water can dissolve many different substances, giving it different tastes and odors. It can be used for things such as drinking, cleansing, and agriculture.
Can’t: Catch on fire. That’s just common sense. Cannot be considered any other liquid, though if it liquid holds trace amounts of H2O untouched by a chemical reaction, then the water can be manipulated.
Air ~The invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, a mixture mainly of oxygen and nitrogen. Wind is the flow of air. Winds may erode, transport, and deposit materials, and are effective agents in regions with sparse vegetation and a large supply of unconsolidated sediments. Although water is much more powerful than wind at eroding the land, aeolian processes are important in shaping landscapes in arid environments such as deserts. It can be used to move ships, carry pollen, and as a supply of energy.
Can’t: Be seen, though some may argue that it can be while carrying particles of matter.
Earth ~Most simply defined as the land surface of the world, though it can be seen as nature itself. It is associated with the turn of each of the four seasons. It is stable and constant. Uses for it can be to cultivate, shelter, and protect.
Can’t: Float in midair. Earth is possessed by gravity, and will always return back to the ground. Infinitely stand forever. It will wear away eventually, though that may be a long time.
