Hidden Leaf Clans
Aburame Clan :: They are most noticeable because most of the family members wear shades or sunglasses. At birth, the babies of that clan are given to the kikai, or destruction bugs. The kikai are the parasites and the body of the newborn is the host. However, it's a mutualism. They both benefit. The kikai get chakra and the host body gets a powerful weapon and resource.
Akimichi Clan :: The chubby clan of the Leaf. They are most famous for their body enlargement jutsus and their large appetites as well as their own chubbiness. An easy way to look for them is to find the large, chubby features of the clan member.
Inuzuka Clan :: This clan from Konoha is known for its ties to the canine species. Many members have a canine familiar who acts as a partner to the clan member. They are well known for their canine combination jutsu and transformation jutsu.
Hyuuga Branch Family :: They are born into protecting the House Family. The Branch Family are also given a cursed seal when they are born to keep them in line. They will feel intense pain if a House Family member feels like the Branch Family member has done something wrong. The Branch family is recognized for their Gentle Fist.
Hyuuga House Family :: They are the leaders of the Clan and they have the power to take a life of an Branch family Member in a hand seal cause major discomfort or some pain. (You may cause some discomfort, but abuse will call in a moderator. No murder, mind you!) The House Family has Gentle Fist, but the Branch Family has it mastered through sheer will and strength. The House Family is more noticed for their Byakugan, though there has been no difference between the families in Byakugan power.
Nara Clan :: This clan from Konoha is known for its ability to manipulate their shadow. Utilizing this ability the clan member can attach their shadow to the shadow of another individual, and take control of the user. Resulting in the affected person replicating or "shadowing" the exact movements in mirror form of the clan member. The Nara often become friends with deer and use deer for medicine. Nara also means Deer.
Yamanaka Clan :: They are known for mental and emotional Genjutsu. They are known to put their foes through mental pain rather than physical pain. They are better from long range combat then close due to their long range jutsu. Yamanaka members usually have better chakra control then others because of their special jutsu and bloodline nature.
Uchiha Clan :: The Uchiha clan used to be very popular within the Leaf, but they are now infamous due to Sasuke. The path of eternal hatred is being broken by today's Uchiha. They are trying to be loving and caring for their village, and though the village no longer fears them, the village seems to loathe them and blame them for the last Great Ninja War, even though, if anything, it was Sasuke's contribution. Sasuke didn't declare the war or even officially join the Akatsuki, but he is still loathed, and so is his clan. Few Uchiha stand today, though Sierra brings more and more by that were 'in other villages'.
