~ It is said that the Golau child, that is believed to Mali, was a child filled with energy. Always moving, and never able to sit still for long periods of time. She was always smiling and seemed to be a really happy and energetic person.
~ After Mali rose from the ashes in Ferol, records state that she still showed those core personality traits, but to a lesser degree. She seemed slightly detached from human emotions, but would often show sparks of her old personality.
Biography:
~ Childhood: Prior to the Battle of the Skies, her past is a mystery, because there is no known records of it, only tales that were past down from generation to generation. Though it is said that Mali spent her childhood in a small town in Golau near Drygioni. The only record that gives the slightest hint of Mali's childhood, is that a Golau child, believed to be Mali, died during a fight at the Golau/Drygioni border.
~ Teen years: Mali appeared during the Battle of the Skies, as her and Maki, the Lady of Darkness, try to peacefully stop the fighting. When their attempts failed, She went into hiding until the Civil War of Freol where she reappeared to try to end another war. In the end, Mali sacrificed herself to bring about the current Elementals of Semesta. No traces of her body remained.

~ It is said that the Drygoni child, that is believed to Maki, was a calm child. Always observant of the world around her. She seemed to be a happy and optimistic person, though it is believed that she was quite stubborn and independent.

~ It is said that during Khoi's life, he was a very energetic person. Pleased by the most simplest things in life. He was a very easy going person, and cared deeply for others, especially towards his younger sister, Adele. He was often very straightforward, and had no problem stating his opinion and was quick to take action.
~ Not much is known about him after he became the Lord of the Void, but is believed that original personality greatly diminished and he has become quite serious.
Biography:
~ Childhood: He grew up on the island of Kainat with the tribe of Non-Elementals that wished to stay separate from the rest of the nations where he lived in peace with his parents and younger sister. He often cared for his sister, and was always there for her.
~ Teen years: He spent majority of his life helping his family and the village. When the drunken Elementals invaded Kainat, he fought bravely to protect his home. He died protecting his sister from the Elementals, though it is believed that he was resurrected through his sisters emotions and became the Lord of the Void. He disappeared after the Fall of Kainat, only to reappear years later when Adele returned to Kainat. He showed her the tunnels that were to become the Verden's headquarters, after that, there has been no known sightings of him.

~ Degan has always been a calm person. He took to politics quite quickly, and took to ruling Vatra easily.
~ He tends to keep to himself and never goes out of his way to be with others. He sees friends as something that is unnecessary. As long as he had his family, he was happy.
Character Flaws:
~ After the death of his first wife, Lilia, he does not trust the people of Vatra, and prefers to keep himself and his family separate from them.
~ He keeps himself separate from the world.
Biography:
~ Childhood: Degan grew up in the royal castle in Eldur. Learning the ways of being a nation prince. He had a number of tutors that would come to the castle and teach him the politics that came with being the future King of Vatra.
~ Teen years: As the knowledge passed to him sank in, his life rapidly became as busy as that of his parents, which isolated him from them very often. He ventured out of the castle more, mostly to learn about the Vatra Military, though. He also started attending his parents banquets, practicing the politics he was taught. It was at one of these banquets that he met a woman by the name of Lilia, a daughter of a Duke. Her outgoing personality and quick wit made her stand out at the party. Other than her, everyone kept to strict politeness and politics that came with a royal event, she was the only one not afraid to speak out against the crowd.
~ Adult years: Degan and Lilia eventually married and took over the thrown from his parents when they retired. They lived happily for awhile, Lilia was even pregnant, but that happiness was not meant to last. The day Lilia gave birth, an intruder entered the castle, kidnapped a child and seriously injured Lilia. The Queen eventually healed, though she was never the same again, her body more frail and prone to sickness, and the child was never found, and assumed to be dead. Due to the attack, his child, a little girl by the name of Iris, was guarded heavily, and as she grew, she was rarely allowed to leave the castle grounds unguarded. As the years passed, Lilia's body grew weaker and she eventually passed away.
~ Present Day: A couple years after Lilia's death, he married Vivian, hoping she could be a motherly figure to Iris, but his daughter and new wife always seemed to clash more often than not. Even though he knows that Iris can fight off any attacker that comes at her, he is still very protective of her. To this day, he still rules Vatra with Vivian.

~ He is a General of the Vatra Military due to the fact that he is King, but he rarely gets involved in the military. No one in the military sees him as a General, they only see him as a King.

Other Information:
~ What makes his family royal is that they have a direct bloodline to the first Fire Elemental, Vatra. Because of this his control over fire is quite stronger than others
~ He never told Iris or Vivian about his lost child. And due to the fact that he keeps himself so cut off from the outside world, not many people even knows that he had a second child. The only people who know, are the few servants that served him at that time, and they have either taken a vow of secrecy, or have already died.

~ Vivian always puts her own welfare before others. She cares not about the people around her, as long as in the end, she is the one on top.
~ She is very cunning in both everyday life and in the politics of ruling a nation.
~ She is not afraid to manipulate others, will do whatever she can to get what she wants.
~ Most of the time, she is a reserved person, keeping her plans to herself, but she can be outspoken and stubborn when she wants to be.
~ Around Degan, she will become the perfect little angel. Always attending to his needs. He is the one person that she can honestly say that she cares for.
~ Vivian loves attention. She loves it when people complement her, and will get annoyed when she does not get any attention after awhile.
Character Flaws:
~ Vivian is not a caring person. She does not care about the people around her and will not give the time of day to them.
~ She does not forgive easily and is known to hold a grudge.
Biography:
~ Childhood: Vivian grew up in a noble home in Ponpye. Her father was a Duke by birthright, though her mother was originally a Countess before she married. Vivian's mother, Korinna, was a ruthless woman who always had a hunger for power, she also was also a woman who was not afraid to use her looks to get what she wanted. Korinna knew that she could not be Queen of Vatra, but her daughter could. So she settled with marrying a Duke and carefully planned a future for her daughter to become the Queen of Vatra. So needless to say, Vivian did not have the easiest childhood. Her mother strived for the upmost perfection, and if Vivian did not meet those standards, she was severely punished for it. So to put it simply, Vivian did not have much of a childhood when her mother was around, but her father was quite the push-over and she was always daddy's little girl. So her father often spoiled her and she loved being with him, he was her constant support.
~ Teen years: Vivian continued to study under her mother, and would often attend social gatherings with her. When Vivian started to show signs that she had her mothers beauty, Korinna hired only the best tailors and maids in Vatra to help make sure that Vivian's beauty was showcased. She would often take Vivian to banquets in Eldur, flaunting her daughter to the King and Queen and the young Prince Degan. Vivian was never fond of going to the banquets, but she went to please her mother. Though she soon grew to love the attention she got from everyone. Well almost everyone, the young prince never seemed to give her the time of day, he was always hung up on some obnoxious girl. Soon it was his attention that she desired the most.
~ Adult years: When Degan married Lilia, that obnoxious girl from the banquets, she continued to live with her parents in Ponpye where her mother continued her vigorous training for perfection. She did not go out with any other man during that time, her mother wouldn't let her. Korinna did not waste all of that time and effort for her daughter to not move up at all in the social ladder. So instead, she waited patiently until another spot for Queen opened up, after all there were three other nations. Though in the end, they did not have to wait too long, Lilia died and Korinna was quick to send her daughter off to Eldur to comfort the poor King in his time of need. Vivian was more than happy to oblige.
~ Present Day: Vivian married Degan, much to her mother's approval. Though to Vivian's dismay, the young princess Iris was much like her mother, always loud and obnoxious, not to mention she lacked the discipline of a princess. To Vivian, Iris was unfit for the position of royalty, much like the former Queen was. To this day Vivian and Iris still argue, and Vivian refuses to be any type of mother to Iris, nor will Iris let her. But other than Iris's presence, Vivian happily rules Vatra with Degan.

Personality:
~ A very proud and stern man. He takes his role as King very seriously.
~ He can be quite stubborn and thick-headed. Once he has an idea in is head, nothing will stop him from completing it.
~ He is usually calm and mild tempered; it is very hard to make him lose his composure. Though once angered, all bets are off, and he will obliterate the object of her anger.
~ His one soft spot is for his daughter Sienna. She is daddy's little girl.
Character Flaws:
~ He is not very open to new ideas. Why change the things that have worked for years? If its not broke, don't fix it. He does not realize that sometimes things need to change for the better.
~ He tends to see things in black and white. Either you did it the right way or the wrong way, good or bad, ext.... There is no middle ground to him.
Biography:
~ Childhood: The only son born in his family, Eamon's future was planned out a a young age. He spent the early years of his life training for the role of King and had number of tutors that would come to the castle and teach him the politics that came with being a royal. As a result, he didn't not have much time to be a kid. The vast majority of his childhood was devoted to his studies.
~ Teen years: As he grew, his father enlisted him into the Mesa military to learn how to properly defend his country. Eamon was already a little socially awkward due to not being around many children as a child, and because he was a prince, the other soldiers in his squad preferred not be near him, or even be friends with him for that matter. They all saw him a a stuck up royal. Because of this, Eamon had to work twice as hard to earn the respect that he felt that he deserved. He slowly rose through the military ranks, and eventually mastered the art of the sword.
~ Adult years: Once he felt like he earned the respect that he deserved, and knew enough about royal politics, he finally took on a few royal duties of his own. He would sometimes roam the towns to learn more about his nation. It was on one of these outings that he came across a robbery, where a man was trying to steal the jewelry off of the body of a woman. Angered by this, he dragged the man off her, and beat him until the robber fell unconscious. When the robber awoke, he was behind bars in Mesa's dungeons. Eamon would constantly check in on the woman, to make sure she healed from her injuries from the event and that she was well cared for. That woman, was Sondra, and even after she healed from her injuries, Eamon refused to stop checking in on her, and they eventually married and started a family as King and Queen of Mesa.
~ Present Day: Eamon rules Mesa with his wife Sondra, and he continues to be a powerful influence in the Mesa Military, while still managing to pamper his daughter.

Personality:
~ A very kind and caring person, who deeply cares about her nations needs.
~ She does not like violence or confrontation, and prefers to avoid it at all cost.
~ She loves nature, and does a lot of work to keep her nation looking like a beautiful paradise.
Character Flaws:
~ She is too trusting of others, and is easily manipulated.
~ She is also very queasy around blood, and will refuse to even step a foot into a hospital. This irrational fear of hers has cut her off from an important aspect of her nation.
Biography:
~ Childhood: Sondra was the daughter of a Count, and her siblings and her grew up in a small town in the outskirts of Alam. She spent most of her childhood playing outside or in the water. Overall she had a very normal childhood with her brothers and sisters. Due to the size of the village, everyone knew each other and helped those in need, as a result, Sondra was practically raised by the whole town.
~ Teen years: Sondra always felt the need to help others, so one day she got the idea that if she went to Alam, and got a higher degree, she would be able to help more people. So determined with this goal in mind, she left her home town and moved into a small apartment in the slums of Alam. She went to school for a few years where she studied to become a Druid.
~ Adult years: One day as she was going back home from the Market, she was assaulted by a burglar, who was trying to get a gold bracelet off of her arm. It was a gift from her father, and Sondra was not going to give it up easily, she tried to fight back, but was soon overpowered. Though to her surprise, a man in a military uniform pulled the burglar off of her and then proceeded to beat the man. Horrified by the act of violence going on in front of her, she pleaded with the officer to stop, and was only able to stop him when she managed to push herself between the officer and the now unconscious man. The officer, who happened to be the prince of the nation, would not leave her be until she agreed to allowed him to oversee the healing of her injuries. He would come by quite often to check in on her, and she soon began looking forward to his company.
~ Present Day: She married Eamon a few years later, and they even started a family together. She is quite happy living in the castle where, she can avoid conflict and violence.

~ Engel is a cheerful man who enjoys the simplest things in life.
~ He is always smiling and is full of energy, and its extremely hard to upset or anger him. Though once you do anger him, he will not hesitate to make your life a living hell.
~ He seems like a very child-like, naive person, thought he is quite perspective. He understands what is going on around him, and it is actually very hard to try to sneak up on him or trying to fool him. He can spot a lie a mile away.
Character Flaws:
~ He is not one who is quick to act. He likes to see a situation unfold, this can sometimes mean that he acts too late so solve a problem.
~ He does not like to get his hands dirty, he likes to keep the position as the "good guy"
Biography:
~ Childhood: Born into a nobel Jord family, Engel had a happy childhood, and had everything he desired. Though this didn't make him spoiled and he often gave his toys away to other children who did not have as much as him. His mother was an aristocrat that was on good terms with the current King and Queen of Jord and would often take him to the palace where the young princess and him would often play together. He could tell that the young Princess was lonely, so he happily went with his mother to the Castle and would often look forward to his visits to the Jord royals.
~ Teen years: His father was a high ranking officer in the Jord Military, and when Engel became of age, his father did not hesitate to train him to go into the military. Engel was not a huge fan of the training, but he went along with it to please his father. He had a natural ability with a battle axe, and he rose through the military ranks quickly, but he had little passion for fighting and only fought to please his parents. His mother continued to take him to the Castle and would like it when he showed his skills with the axe to the King and Queen. By this time he learned of the plan that his parents and the King and Queen of Jord had for Hana and himself.
~ Adult Years: His marriage with Hana was an arranged one. It was planned by their families while they were both still young, and was the reason Hana and him for forced together so often. He learned of the plan when he was a teen, and had grown used to the idea, so when the marriage finally happened, he was not surprised and went along with it without objection. He had always though of Hana as a good friend, and he saw no reason not to marry her, even though they never really 'dated', he does love her. After he married her, he was promoted to the rank of General in the military. It was more of an honorary title, and Engel cared little for it, though he accepted his new duties gracefully.

Concerned for her mental wellbeing, her parents brought in Master Seers from around the world to help train their daughter how to control her powers. She spent most of her teenage years training her powers while also taking on some of the duties of royalty. She also foresaw her marriage to Engel, though did not understand how exactly it would happen.
~ Adult years: Her marriage with Engel was an arranged one. It was planned by their families while they were both still young. It was also a marriage she accepted gracefully because she saw it has her duty to her country to marry and produce a heir to the throne. It was just one of the many duties of royalty. Her and Engel were always close friends, so if it was him, she would not object. A little while after her marriage, her parents retired and Engel and her rose to the throne.

~ Childhood: Tryfon was born into a wealthy Aria family and wanted nothing during his childhood. He grew up in Angin with a total of six other siblings, Tryfon being the oldest. His mother would often take her children to her hometown of Hewa, immersing her children in all of the spiritual teachings Hewa had to offer. While Tryfon's father, Leon, was an Aria politician and diplomat, and worked for the Aria government. Due to work, Leon was never really involved in Tryfon's childhood and he would often push his children off onto the maids to look after as he worked in his study where it was quiet.
~ Teen years: It wasn't until Tryfon was a teenager that his father really took an interest in him. Tryfon being the oldest of his children, Leon felt that it was Tryfon's duty to follow in his footsteps. Thus Tryfon spent most of his teenage years being his fathers shadow, attending social gatherings and political meetings learning the ways of begin a diplomat. Tryfon got no enjoyment out of these events, he preferred being alone and the spiritual connection gained through meditation, though he found that he had a natural talent for working with people. To his dismay, people were naturally drawn towards him and wanted to hear what he had to say. To relieve the stress from the political life, Tryfon would study alchemy in what little free time he had.
~ Adult years: Soon after reaching adulthood, Tryfon stepped out of being his father's shadow and rose through the government ranks himself. His father eventually retired, and Tryfon became an advisor to the King and Queen of Aria. It was here that he met Kimiko, the eldest Princess of Aria, her outspoken personality captivated him, and the fact that his natural charisma had no effect on her infatuated him even more. Soon Tryfon would go out of his way to seek her out just to have a moment to talk to her. She turned him down a great many times, but for her, Tryfon remained persistent, and eventually she agreed to "allow him a few moments of her time."
~ Present Day: Those 'few moments' never ended. Tryfon and Kimiko eventually got married and even had a daughter, whom he spoiled greatly. Though when Kimiko could not have anymore children, they even adopted a child so that his daughter would never be lonely. Together they currently rule Aria, where he manages most of the nations spiritual and political affairs, while Kimiko manages the military.

~ Childhood: Kimiko grew up in the royal castle in Caeli. She was pampered as a child and was groomed to be the perfect Arian Princess. She hated every second of it. She hated the feeling of being smothered by all of the maids and longed to run free through the skies and venture out into the world. Though out of duty to her nation, Kimiko locked those desires away and learned to be a proper princess.
~ Teen years: The urge to run free grew to be more difficult to contain the older she got. To satisfy this urge, she would often sneak out of the castle at night and wander the streets of Caeli only to attend important political gatherings the following morning. Eventually, her body could not keep up with the constant sneaking out and the little sleep she got before another important event, and she would constantly fall asleep right at the worst times. Her parents soon caught on to what she was up to and forced her to stop. To provide an outlet to Kimiko's restlessness, her parents hired a Master Swordsman to teach her the way of the sword. Kimiko loved it, though all throughout her training, her parents always had someone there to make sure that no harm came to the princess and that her training never went any further than the basics.
~ Adult years: As soon as Kimiko reached adulthood, she joined the military, much to her parents dismay. She was determined to master the sword and she made it clear that there was nothing her parents could do to stop her. She loved the military life and quickly rose through the ranks. During the little time she spent at the castle, she was followed around by one of her parents advisors. And despite her efforts to throw him off, that pesky advisor just would not leave her alone.
~ Present Day: She ended up marrying that pesky advisor and even had a daughter with him. Though her pregnancy was a hard one and she was very sick during the whole pregnancy, thus she decided not to go through it again. To prevent her daughter from being lonely, she adopted a young girl. He got fired from his job at the library, and started working as scholar with his main focus of study being energy. It was this study that lead him to becoming a shaman.

Eventually, due to the demands of their neighbors, Kaede's parents sent her off to a military boarding school in Ponpye.
~ Teen Years: Kaede was miserable in bording school. She still pulled a good prank every now and then, but because of the strictness of the school, it was nothing like what she did before. She grew to hate authority here, due to the fact that they were trying to force her into being something that she was not--which they were. As an outlet for all of her pent up frustration, Kaede turned to a pair of twin swords. She trained with them daily and eventually mastered them. She also took great interest in working with metal. She enjoyed making objects that could be used in later pranks, smoke balls and other booby traps being her favorite.

~ Teen Years: Naomi left the tribe to live in Vesi. She got a job at a hot spring that was at the edge of the wilderness. Here she learned the ways of healing. She eventually taught herself how to not only heal people, but how to manipulate the water in plants to heal them as well.

~ Childhood: Lino grew up in Angin with his mother and father. His father was a nobleman who made his fortune by getting into the trade business. His mother was a simple woman who just enjoyed being a stay at home mother for her son. Overall he had a very normal childhood.
~ Teen Years: His father stared teaching him the 'art of trade' so that one day Lino could take over the family trade company. Lino was not very interested, instead he started 'exploring' things about himself, and eventually he found that he liked kissing guys more than he did kissing girls. He first told his mother of his sexual preference, and though she was not thrilled about it, she just wanted him to be happy, and if that happiness was found with another guy, then so be it. His father on the other hand, was livid, no son of his was going to be some flamboyant freak. At first Lino's father was in denial about it all, thinking that it was just a phase and that his son would one day wake up and realize that it was all a misunderstanding. When that day never came, and countless arguments later, Lino's father disowned him. He was kicked out of the house and told to never come back.

~ Childhood: Akemi grew up in the outskirts of Levego. Her parents were very harsh on her and her older brother about education. If she was not pulling in only the best of grades, she would be punished. Where her brother was calm and collected and did very well in school, Akemi did not like the pressure she was constantly put under, and her grades showed it. So most of her childhood was spent locked in her room studying.
~ Teen Years: Akemi started rebelling against her parents more. She would often sneak out of the house and start free running thorough the streets of Levego. She would often come back bruised and battered, but she was never happier while she was running. It became her outlet and she enjoyed the freedom it brought her. Her parents were appalled by it, a girl should not be running in the dead of night. To prevent her from going out, her parents would try to lock her inside her room, though Akemi only saw that as a challenge and would find interesting ways to escape.
~ Present Day: To free herself from her parents, Akemi joined the military. The speed and agility she gained from years of free running helped her rise through the ranks quickly. She now lives in her own--military supplied--apartment in Levego.

Biography:
~ Childhood: He grew up in a small village in Jord with his family. He had a peaceful life until his family was attacked one night. He was only nine at the time, though he can remember it as clear as day. It was the middle of the night and his entire family was murdered in front of him. He has no idea why his family was murdered, only that one of the members of the assassins was an Air Elemental. The assassin would form invisible blades out of air and attack. One of these blades sliced his throat, forever damaging his vocal cords. David thought he was going to die that night though out of sheer determination, he managed to cling to life until helped arrived.
~ Teen Years: He passed through many foster homes and slowly got used to his new life of total silence. When it became clear that no one would adopt him, he ran away from his foster home. He wandered aimlessly for a while until Adele stumbled across him. She recognized the hurt and hate in him and easily recruited him into the Verden military.
~ Present Day: He currently lives on Kainat with the rest of the Verden. Training to one day find the Elemental who killed his family and took his voice away from him.

Biography:
~ Childhood: Regina grew up with her family in Regen, where her mother ran a small tavern and inn for travelers and tourist to stay at when they came to visit Cami Bay. Her father was a medic and taught Regina almost everything she knows about healing. Though Regina was always fascinated by the snakes and other poisonous creatures that lived in the Bay and often spend some time studying them.
~ Teen Years: Regina helped her mother with the family business, often at the tavern section of the inn. Many thrill seeking Elementals would come into Bay to go diving, and some came so often Regina knew them by name and would consider them a friend. There was one in particular that she enjoyed seeing, a Fire Elemental by the name of Jorden. She loved hearing about his adventures and the hunting that he did and looked forward to seeing him. She would always talk to him when he was there, and would write to him when he was not, and eventually they started dating. She was always the happiest when he was there, and one night, the day before he left to go back to Vatra, she gave her whole body and soul to him, and he took it. That entire night, she was his. She expected to wake in the morning in her lovers arms, though what she got was an empty bed and Jorden fully dressed and leaving. Regina begged him to stop, to explain why he was leaving. His response was that even though it was fun, the game was over, and he had won. He had long grew tired of hunting fish and other animals, and wanted to hunt something a little more challenging, a woman's heart. Regina was nothing but prey to him, and she was not the first, there were other Non-Elemental girls in Vatra who's hearts he stole and then crushed after he gotten what he wanted from them. Jorden spoke about how he only hunted Non-Elementals, he saw them as only playthings that were below the Elementals. Though what drew Jorden to Regina was her race, he wanted to see what it was like to capture the innocence of an elf, and once he had it, he left Regina brokenhearted on the floor.
~ Present Day: The day Jorden left was the day Regina sealed her broken heart from the world. Every Elemental she saw only brought out a flood of anger within her. She left her home in Regen, determined to find the man who took advantage of her and make him pay. Instead she found Adele, who convinced her to join the Verden and to take her revenge on not only the Hunter, but every Elemental who thought that they could do whatever they wanted to the Non-Elementals. Regina gladly accepted Adele's offer, but under one condition, the day the Verden captured Jorden, he was to be given to her. She now lives on Kainat with the rest of the Verden Military, acting as both a medic and a soldier
