--Saturday, August 11: Ghaleon unveils his two newest and perhaps deadliest servants in Mayuri Kurotsuchi and Grimmjow Jaegarjaques, who level the city of Tokyo for their Emperor. Shortly thereafter, the city is remodeled into the Emperor's newest stronghold, the Land of Tainted Souls, Hueco Mundo.

--Friday, August 10: The wolves of the North arrive with Ryo and Hakkaku at the ruins of the City of the Ancients and discover it unsuitable for living. It is only when Kai and Tala appear and announce they have abandoned Abbey that their hope of finding a home is restored. Meanwhile, the Blitzkrieg Boys enter the Necrohal of Nabudis (the ruins of the City) for unknown reasons.

--Sieg Gainsborough unleashes a deadly assault on Sharu's home in Oberon, and is only stopped when The Pursuers, Azure Kite (Tri-Edge) and Balmung of the Azure Sky arrive and drive him off for the second time. Sharu's son Dirk arrives just in time to speak with Balmung, before the Pursuers continue in their quest to eliminate chaos.

--Tuesday, August 7: Sensing their own weakness and inability to defend the City of the Ancients, Lloyd and Onyx lay waste to their home and retreat to the Grindery to ensure the Resistance does not get their hands on any more resources.

--Monday, August 6: In retaliation for the humiliation of his Generals, Ghaleon levels the Northern Caves, leaving the once beautiful home of the wolves an uninhabitable wasteland now know as The Forsaken Land, Nabudis.

--Maigo and Zeo arrive in Horam and are taken in under the protection of Yuffie Kisaragi. Kouga and Sesshoumaru soon set out to follow and locate her there.

--Friday, August 3: After reviving Kouga the Wolf, Sesshoumaru chooses to attack the Grindery. The Generals of Ghaleon await them atop the Grindery, but things do not go as expected as Ghaleon, warned of impending danger in his garden, is forced to leave the soon-to-be battlefield.

--The Lone Wolf, Kouga shows up to battle Ghaleon's Generals. As Kouga Wolffe and Cyril prepare for battle, both are stunned by the sudden attack on Cyril by none other than his own partner, Vossler Azelas. Vossler explains that it is payback for Cyril interrupting his fight and offer to fend off Cyril's attack. Accepting the offer, Kouga Wolffe decides to battle the legions of Ghaleon amassed inside the Grindery.

--In the Gardens, Ghaleon finds Onyxsonal locked in a comical battle with Sesshoumaru's servant, Jaken. Jaken, who threatened to burn the forest using the Staff of Two Heads, is deemed unworthy for execution and Ghaleon shatters the Staff of Two Heads. He then leaves Jaken's execution to Onyx, who takes him to the City of The Ancients. Once there, Jaken is executed but Hakkaku the Wolf, who took up residence in the City, is able to rescue his body and escapes the City alive.

--Elsewhere, Sephiroth the Ancient chooses not to sit by idly, and attacks The Northern Caves to force a retreat. His plan fails, however, when Sesshoumaru, who stayed behind, is able to cast the Black Wizard into the Waterfall and stop Meteor's decent. Hakkaku the Wolf then arrives, carrying Jaken's body, and pleads that Sesshoumaru revive his servant. Sesshoumaru uses Tenseiga to restore Jaken's life, and thus their diversion is a success.

--Meanwhile, Zeo Zaggart ascends the southern face of the Grindery, and succeeds in infiltrating the Grindery. He then uses the Blue Dragon Palm to shatter Ghaleon's barrier, freeing Maigo Kokoro. He then retreats with Maigo, heading South towards Horam. Barry White fails to escape, becoming a hero of the Resistance. He is presumed dead upon capture.

--Finally, at the climax of the battle of Vossler Azelas and Ghaleon's Perfect Creation, Cyril. The two warriors display an array of power to be feared across the lands, and both sustain fair damage. Although Vossler makes a nearly critical hit to Cyril with his Dark Claw, Cyril emphasizes his Perfect Nature by Destroying his own chest to remove Vossler's Dark Claw, which would not heal otherwise. The two prepare to continue fighting when, in a storm of magical energy, Ghaleon himself calls a halt to the battle. The two Generals cower before him, and pledge that it will never happen again.

--Wednesday, August 1, 2007: Ghaleon asks Maigo and Yamiko whether they choose the Rebellion or the Empire. Yamiko chooses to side with the Empire while Maigo refuses the Emperor's request. In retaliation, Vossler Azelas follows Maigo Kokoro back to the Northern Caves, where a battle insues and Kouga is defeated when Cyril, who also followed Maigo, kidnaps her and ends the fight with a kick to Kouga's wounded torso. No Prize For Victory is awarded, due to the immediate retreat of Cyril and his apparent failure to kill Kouga.

--Saturday, December 2: Cloud Strife of Nibelheim declares an open tournament in honor of the fallen warriors at the Battle of the Callisto Beaches. Sixteen fighters sign up to participate in the Tournament from all over the world. The fighters are Sora of Abbey, Sharu of Shattered Lands, Seipher of Aron, Sesshoumaru of the Northern Caves, Mystel of Abbey, Reno of Midgar, Pause of Aron, Frost of Aron, Amarant of the City of Ancients, Kyle of Nanza and Meribia, Takemaru of Setsuna and Mt. Hakurei, Ryuho of HOLY and Midgar, Lloyd of the City, Bankotsu of Mt. Hakurei, Onyx of the City of the Ancients, and Biggs of Meribia.

--Thursday, November 30: A planned raid by the Aronian Prince Nightblade of the Red City, Callisto turns into the greatest battle of the war to date! When Fuhrer Bradley of Callisto forsees an attack by Aron, his troops prepared for battle along the Beaches of Callisto. As expected, using the Highwind airship, a team of Meribians and Aronians launch a full-assault on the State Military of Callisto with explosive results.

--Amongst the great battle, The Unsent Knight Auron engaged in an epic battle with the Fuhrer King Bradley, which was ended when Bradley, who revealed himself to be the homunculus "Pride"'s, saber pierced the heart of Auron (Pride receives item Warrior's Crest).

--Elsewhere, the homunculus Greed did battle with the warrior Rath, which ended when Greed's faithful chimera Rocky attacked Rath, leaving an opening for the homunculus's attack (Greed receives item ??? from Rath).

--In another great battle on-board the Highwind, Zolf J. Kimbley the Crimson Alchemist squared off against the pilot Cid Highwind. Perhaps a little preoccupied with protecting his crew and his ship, Cid was knocked unconscious by the Crimson Alchemist's sandstorm attack (Z. Kimbley receives item Mastered Comet Materia). As Kimbley created havoc on the bridge, however, he was caught off-guard by the ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife, who with his Braver technique sent him through the window of Highwind to fall into the Sea of Callisto. (Cloud receives item Incomplete Philosopher's Stone).

--In the sky above the battle, Aronian Prince Nightblade found himself locked in a duel with the Warlord of Ghaleon, Vossler Azelas. The two fought to a stalemate at first, but once revealing the terrible powers of the Dawn Shard to the prince, Vossler took control of the battle and never let go. With a stunning surprise attack, Vossler soon found himself the victor. (Vossler receives item Ghaleon's Tear).

--As the battle seemed to be turning and the rebellion prepared for retreat, it was the arrival of Aeris Gainsborough, the lost Ancient of Aron, and Kyle, the Guardian of Nanza Pass, that turned the tide. As Aeris casted her Healing Wind on the battlefield, Cid soon found himself conscious and locked in battle on the deck of Highwind with Sharu of the Shattered Lands.

--Elsewhere, spurred on by the appearance of a woman from his past and the death of his friend Auron, Cloud Strife leapt into battle against the homunculus, Pride. His lightning-quick attacks and overwhelming power and anger drove the Fuhrer back into the city, where an array had been created by the Devil's Nest Gang specifically for his defeat. Once Pride made the misstep of getting into the array it was activated, allowing Cloud to land the finishing blow with his Omnislash. (Cloud wins item Ultimate Eye.)

--Meanwhile, Kyle found himself locked in a battle with the other homunculus of Callisto, Greed. While the two seemed evenly matched, Greed sacrificed his body to protect his most loyal chimera, Rocky, from a Sonic Riser attack from Kyle. While down but not out, Greed found himself in the center of his own array at the same moment as Pride. In a bold move, Greed placed his faith in a man who had once betrayed them, and told Rocky to activate the array. While this move resulted in the death of Pride, it was also the end of Greed as Kyle landed his Power Slash to finish the battle. (Kyle wins item Incomplete Philosopher's Stone).

--The final battle between Cid and Sharu ended abruptly when Sharu abandoned the battle after finding himself severely outnumbered, but not before leaving the gift of Tonberries to his attackers. Though the Tonberries were defeated, Sharu managed to escape the battle with the help of his many, many resources.

--In the end, Cloud Strife and his friends win the Battle on the Beaches of Callisto and score a great victory for the Rebellion. Cloud Strife of Meribia now begins the Rebellion Occupation of the Red City, Callisto.

--Meanwhile, in the dead of night, the Devil's Nest Gang finds the barely-living body of Zolf J. Kimbley in the Sea of Callisto and head off in the direction of the village called Abbey...with the body of their leader, Greed, in tow.

--Tuesday, November 28: Vossler Azelas, Warlord of Ghaleon, creates an alliance with Sharu of the Shattered Lands.

--Monday, November 27: Sephiroth and the City of the Ancients create a loose alliance with Kouga of the Wolf Demons and the Northern Caves. Hakkaku, Kouga's right-hand warrior, is sent to the City to aid the Black Wizard.

--Sunday, November 26: Aron reclaims its rule over its lands and capital as Midgar makes a tactical withdrawal following the loss of its Sky Fortress. Nightblade begins methodically removing all traces of Midgar from his lands.

--Friday, November 24: Greed and Kimbley leave the STAI Fortress to rest over the Docks of Callisto, but leave it unguarded to attend a meeting with the Fuhrer. In that opportune moment, Kai and Tala of Abbey invade the Fortress and with a well-placed attack destroy it from the inside out. Kimbley confronts the two, but both escape without engaging in battle. Tala extends an offer to Kimbley to join Abbey if the Military fires him. STAI then crashes into the Sea of Callisto, the resulting wave causing damage and panic along the Beaches of the Red City.

--Tuesday, November 21: Aronian Prince Nightblade opens a full-assault on Midgar's STAI Fortress hovering over Aron in an attempt to take back their capital. Reno and Rude of the Turks waited to ambush the Aronians, but during the raid, Zolf Kimbley and the homunculus Greed broke into the control center of the STAI and hijacked it. Both the Aronians and Turks were forced to retreat to safety, while the two members of the Callisto State Military took the STAI Fortress back to Callisto.

--Sunday, October 15: Aronian Prince Nightblade begins showing open signs of rebellion in Aron against the Midgar occupation.

--September 2006: Rufus Shinra appoints Leos Kline as temporary Governor of Aron. STAI begins hovering over the Keep of Aron. Also, Aronian captain Pause completes project to rebuild the fighting force known as "Team VCR".

--March-April 2006: Midgar launches a full-scale assault on Aron. The Aronians, taken by surprise, are defeated by the masterful planning and skill of Rufus Shinra and the Turks, Rude and Reno. Several Aronians were killed by the Turks, including Helios by Rude (Rude receives item Scottish Crest), Frost by Reno (Reno receives item Ultra Holy Water!), and Lina Inverse by Rude (Rude receives item Tetra-Elemental).

--March-April 2006: The Ruined City of Aron falls under the occupation of Midgar, marking the first major victory of the Quest of the Magic Empire.

--Tuesday, March 21: Aron launches a full-scale attack against the City of the Ancients. Onyx is killed in the assault by Nightblade (who received a copy of the Book of the Ancients) and Vincent, and the Lodge in the City is destroyed. The brunt of the assault, however, was repelled by Sephiroth's Advisor Lloyd (who receives a Remote Control), who in the process killed Pause, the Silver Knight.

--Monday, March 20: Master Cyril enters Aron once again, this time slaughtering the majority of the townsfolk in a move to draw out the forces there. In retaliation, Nightblade attempts to limit entrants to the city by creating a Canyon restricting access to Aron. Cities seem to be digging in for the war to come.

--Saturday, March 18: Sieg Gainsburough closes down the Astral Train in an attempt to keep enemies out of the Realm of the Dark Order.

--Saturday, March 18: As a retalliation to Cyril's destruction of the landmarks in Aron, the Rebellion made its first strike against the forces that worked against it in the world. A battallion of both Meribians and Aronians launched a raid into the Black Palace portion of Sieg Gainsburough's domain, destroying a large portion of the Dark Order's lair.

--Saturday, March 18: Ghaleon's "Perfect Creation" Master Cyril destroys several major landmarks in the Ruined City of Aron, and leaves a message in his own blood challenging the armies of Nightblade. The first strike of the Empire against the Rebellion officially is made.

--Thursday, March 16: An attempted ambush by Nightblade in Aron is foiled when Sora, working for Kai Hiwatari, rescued Onyx and took her to Abbey. There, Kai and Sora ambushed her and killed her. Kai claimed the Key Item Blue Dragon Aura, and Sora won A Book of the Chosen.

--Thursday, March 16: Shinra Soldiers and Turks begin scouring the world for MAKO deposits, stopping in several major cities such as Aron, the City of the Ancients, and the Northern Caves. The Shinra's Neo-Midgar Project has begun.

--Unknown: Ghaleon recreates the world with order, dividing it into 10 cities and villages. The Quest of the Magic Empire begins.
