I'm also a mean old man. But at least I can admit that.

I enjoy good readings such as the Count of Monte Cristo and various mangas such as Jing King of Bandits and Fullmetal Alchemists.

I am a student librarian for the forestry department of my University. It's minimum wage but it gets the bills paid I suppose.

I am Shokushu.

Some of the time people shorten it to Shoku or refer to me as Man-Reika.

I don't really do anything but act like I have authority and answer questions with questionable accuracy.

Since Astral kept his post short I am now the most likely person to go on and on with a huge description but that won't be happenning either. My post will probably still be one of the longest.

...um, I spend alot of time playing Blizzard games and my intellect is superior to nearly anyone you can find on battle.net... which doesn't really say much but I like running circles around those silly twelve year olds.

I'm the official pirate, and gun-toteing loony of the MSU.

I kill monsters. and um... I really like movies... ummm... aaaaaand.... talking about history... annnnnd... oh shoot what else... ummmm turn ons include: long walks at night, battleing the forces of darkness, popcorn and koolaid, the surprised look on a vampire's face when you land an axe in his mid-section.

turn offs: waitresses calling me "sugar", onions, monsters who try to pass themselves off as "people friendly" (so not buying that), and um.... self-righteous social reformers.

so, I actually wrote up Jon-OH as a character for some On-line RP thing that I'm no longer involved with, so I thought I"d just post that here for those of you who like to think along those lines...



name: Jon-OH
race: appears to be human, upon closer examination it is found that he hasn't a soul per se, race probably best defined as "lesser divine being", much lower than an angel, but slightly above a human.
age: (approximately) 630 years of age
alignment: Lawful, good
history: history: Began his professional career as a pirate. He thus began pirating, with no mercy or regard for human life. And did verily pirate in the general direction of the Astral Samurai, who proceeded to engage Jon-OH in singles combat. After a clash the likes of which will likely not be seen anytime soon, Jon-OH was slain, but arose again in 40 seconds, having "respawned" as AstralSamurai called it. Since-forth, the Jon-OH has traveled the world under the leadership of the AstralSamurai, and with time began to hunt monsters on his own, for some time he killed monsters without mercy or reguard for life. Until the year 1800 when he joined the official ranks of the "Monster Slayers United", a government program designed to contend with the non-humo beings who act outside of the law. This sudden employment seemed to have shaped young Jon-OH into a being of duty and consideration. He doesn't seem to long for the open blood spilling that his earlier times desired. Currently he continues to operate under the banner of the MSU, however he seems much more inclined only to bring harm to those monsters that act in a particularly harmful fashion. Treating others with a sort of casual professionalism. However those whom he has identified as worthy of targeting are delt with extreme prejudice.
weapons: Carries a 3 foot "hand and a half" single headed axe, but prefers to use firearms. Specifically Mark-23 "SoCom" hand gun, "F-N P-90" (sub machine gun), Colt M-4 (assault rifle), or sawed off 12-guage although the guns change from time to time as situation demands.
skills: impeccable aim, able to unconsciously determine structural weak points of buildings, and thus attack them with various ranged and melee weapons
powers: Considerable physical strength, connection with the divine allowing for the meditative healing of wounds.
misc: I'm an open book, if you've a question, about myself, or anything to do with my profession, feel free to ask.

I'm not an official member of the MSU, but I'm a regular around here. I like many others here enjoy hunting and killing monsters (don't ask, I just do). Um, I also enjoy movies, music, books, and just about anything else that will entertain me.

In real life I'm a short, redhead...just like my avi. What I like red hair! Get off it. biggrin

Anyway, I am also the #1 Fangirl of the great and mighty, as well as sexy and smooth, Jon-OH.

On a side not, I happen to also be dead, which means I'm a monster. Luckily I tend to be a bit incorporeal at times, which is nice because Jon thinks that monsters aren't friendly people and tends to put bullets through anything that squeals and gives him a hug every morning.

My official position is that of Cute Undead Technician Extraordinaire (CUTE for short) and I help out the Chief MSU Science Officer Archlord with his experiments.

I believe this leaves me with the longest post as well. ^_^
