An ambitious veterinarian slash would-be detective on the side, well-learned and highly intelligent for her age. Got into college at 17 and never stopped moving forward or studying since. Has a hard time understanding what "cooperation" mean when it comes to emotional needs. Repeats things as a tic. Incredible memory, for better or for worse. Prefers animals over people. Do not touch without permission. Oddly enough, does not like to read and prefers to have hands-on approaches.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Life was fine for Sam and her brother Dean until their dad died, forcing their single parent home to live barely above the poverty line. Already a prodigy in her own right, she quickly rose to the top of her class and got into college at 17. While studying, she began to shadow veterinarians at a nearby clinic and eventually became their youngest employee, presumably to help bring income to her family. (Really, she liked the attention just as much as the prestige and money.) In what spare time she did have, she often researched mysterious events and attempted amateur work as a detective for local problems.
The shadows she and her brother saw were really just a quirk of life until she was approached by a recruiter. Given that she would get a chance to look beyond the veil, Sam didn't see an issue with saying yes. If anything, being special was just the next inevitable step in her golden life.

Mostly subdued due to nature of Horseman weapons, but often communicates with the sound of bells and soft hums. Enjoys dissection and learning along with Sam, finds her profession "charmingly quaint." Was once a tamer of many beasts/insects/apexes and longs to do something similar with minipets. (Forgotten for now.)

Death Rattle (T2 The Mind) - The spines on Sam's scythe briefly become alive, scraping and shaking against each other in a terrible racket that throws the opponent off guard.
