This is one of the few cities in the world where the Exiles, Demons, and Angels have equal presence. Exiles inspiring artists, demons inspiring criminal activity, and angels inspiring quite a bit of religious activity.

Saralia yanked on a pair of cargo pants and raced to the door. Grabbing a granola bar from the counter, she slung her backpack over her shoulder. Droping at the door to the laundry room she flung open the dryer. As she pulled out a tight green shirt, a carhorn honked loudly outside the building. She went to the window and tugged the shirt over her head.
"I'll be down in a minute!" She turned and grabbed her bag again, running to the door and locking it behind her. Saralia dodged down the stairs of the ramshackle apartment building and threw open the doors, stepping into the bright 8th avenue morning.

At 8:15am Tabby emerged from her bed after rolling around and fighting with her alarm clock for 20 minutes. After breakfast, and she began to fiddle with her guitar to find the right sequence of chords to go with the new song she'd just written. After breaking up with Shane she had written so many new ones. Sometimes misery could really be a girls best friend.

Azreal went down to earth as she saw a vision of a girl who was distressed. She wasnt exactly a child, but she thought she should still look over her. She flew gracious to her home within the night so she could not be spotted. In the morning she watched her play on her guitare. Azeal decided it was time to show herself. She said calmy "Hello Tabby."

Startled from being inturrupted, Tabby looked up from her guitar. She quietly contemplated the being before her with tear stained eyes. She had never seen anything so beautiful in her life. The light she ratiated was unlike anything earthly. She felt curious, and sad, but peace had begun to wash over her body, so she did not feel afraid, but she could not remember how to speak.

She saw tears trickleing Tabby's face, Azreal gracfully moved closer to her, smilling with simpathy, "Please do not be afraid, I will not hurt you. I just want to help, I know you are hurting and I feel for you." She gently placed her hand on Tabby's shoulder.

Saralia jumped clumsily into the green lexus and bapped the boy driving over the head.
"Hey, I said be a little late. I was rushing!" She smiled over at him as he pulled away from the curb. He mumbled something about hating to wait and glared at the bustling cars before him. She rolled her blue grey eyes at him and looked out her window at the buildings blurring past her.

AmazonWarrior "Are... are you an angel?" she asked. She smiled, "I am," she flutterd her wings a little. Azreal put her arm around Tabby's shoulder and motioned for her to sit down. "I heard your call of despair, and I have come to answer that." she held her hand gently, "What trobules you my friend?"

Suddenly, Tabby felt ashamed for ever doubting the existence of God. She began to cry and shake her head saying
"I'm sorry, so sorry. I'm sorry I stopped believing in God. I thought he wasn't real. When my father died..... When I came home from school that day, and there he was, lying on the kitchen floor.... I thought God was punishing me, because I didn't come home on time that day.... because I hung out with those kids and smoked that.... those... things...
And now... now... after everything I've been through...

Azreal calmy placed her hands around Tabby to comfort her. She held her closey to herself, stroting her head. "Do not feel ashamed dear child, we understand how people loose faith after unfair things happen to one, but please undertand that just because God created life, it doesn't mean he can destory it."
She spoke with a calm and caring voice. Azreal then kissed Tabby's forhead. "Your fathers death was not of your doing, and I'm sure he was proad of then as he is now." She brushed Tabby's hair away from her hair, as tears were making it wet.

Tabby felt comforted by the angels soft voice and warm hands. She smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes and asked "Does God still love me?"

"Gee, Thanks for the ride, Ross!" She slammed the car door shut and walked purposefully to the entrance.
