Hirameki Inetrnational. A company that translates interactive visual novels.

So, what is a visual novel?
Visual Novels are Basically a type of RPG. It's not like there's usually an RPG level up system, but you do make choices throughout the game that drives the storyline. Although some games with this same system, plus the combat of a normal RPG. For example: Nippon Ichi's/Xuse's Eien no Aseria, and Xuse's Spirit's Expedition in the Phantasmagoria. Plus Hirameki is releasing Peace of wonder this summer, which also features a battle system. Anyway, visual novels are usually heavily romantic in storyline and a huge number of them are ero (hentai) games. So far everything Hirameki has translated has been non-ero or edited by a port company. Besides that though, they're not all necissarilly romantic and their genres spread across the board. They're not as cool looking as anime, but the art is generally better, and I like them. Besides, there's plenty of anime based off of them.

Hirameki Games List (ones marked with a * I can give detailed information on):
Phantom of Inferno* (has an OVA that has been liscensed)
Hourglass of Summer* (Has an OVA)
Ishika and Honori*
Day of Love*
Tea Society of a Witch*
Ever17: Out of the Infinity* (part of the infinity series, the only of which has been translated, works well as a stand-alone)
Amusement Park*
Exodus Guilty* (3 part series)
Dragonia*
Ai Yori Aoshi (Based off the anime series)
Animamundi: Dark Alchemist* (this one you CAN be gay if you want to be. Inthe beginning it asks you if you could be immortal and pick one person to stay with you forever, what gender would it be. You have three answers: A man, a woman, or either.)
Peice of Wonder
Yo-Jin-Bo

Hirameki has a survey on their online community you might want to take if you like visual novels: http://community.hirameki-int.com/modules/enqeute2/index.php?id=1

By the way, some of their games are 17+ so watch out if you don't want to be surprised. Not adult, just a bit suggestive sometimes, I wouldn't worry about that rating too much. As far as 15+ games go... I have no idea of whay Hourglass of Summer is 15+ considering it's completely clean. Maybe it also deals with age group appeal?

This is where my list was before so this is where it's going to be again:

For games that have a pretty high probability of being translated you may want to check the Digiturbo site: http://www.digiturbo.co.jp/
You might want to use one you recognise in the survey in the first post.

Another site with "clean" games for PS2 would be Princess Soft (Hourglass of Summer, W-wish, Final Approach, Finalist): http://www.oaks-soft.co.jp/princess-soft/princess-soft.html

KID (Ever17, Memories Off series) is another source: http://www.kid-game.co.jp/index_1.html

Other companies that I will not give the HP due to 18+ are:
Project Navel (Shuffle!, Soul Link)
Age Soft (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien)
Alice Soft
ACTRESS (Day of Love)
Nitro+ (Phantom of Inferno)
GIGA (does a lot of non-visual novels too. Some well known ones are Variable Geo, and Baldr Force,)
Neko Neko Soft (Lamune, Mizuiro)
August Soft (Hani Hani Operation Sanctuary)
Groover
Circus (Da Capo series) http://circus.nandemo.gr.jp/common/game/index.html (this is Circus' non-ero branch. [!they have a Mai-Hime game!])
Xuse (Eien on Aseria)
Caramel Box (has one game being turned into an anime, but I can't say the name since I can't read kanji)
Type Moon (Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night)
Orbit Soft
Moon Stone
Purple Software
Project Lime (Navel spinoff, still in progress on their first game)
Ivory
Key (Kanon, Air)
F&C (Canvas)
Leaf/Aqua Plus (two separte groups as far as I know, but they work together. More well known titles are To Heart, and Comic Party.)
Tama Soft
Minori (Wind - A Breath of heart - [They have Makoto Shinkai as their movie direct for their games! O.O])
Candy Soft (Tsuyo Kiss)
INTERHEART
CROWD
KLEIN
130cm
By the way... There's a lot more I'm not listing.

This list may change and expand with time.

Whoever's in charge of hiring translators at Hirameki needs to be fired NOW. My friend bought and played Ever17 back in May, and showed me a screenie of how terrible the translation is. Now I'm afraid to open and play Ai Yori Aoshi.

Ishika and honori was my second to least favorite one. D: I still haven't gotten that far in Animamundi, but I'm liking it.

I'm still too lazy to go through it. Right now I'm still sticking to (and sucking at) Doushin. Maybe if I just run through eveyone's storylines and write down al the even times... -.- Seriously, it's totally not working out for me. I still haven't managed an ending with Kei, well a romantic ending. Totally not cool. D: I also sopmehow managed to miss Ippei that one time even though Maki totally had sex with him... TWICE. Then somehow I get this ending with one of her friends... that's a girl... O.o I mean... come on. Well Ippei was there, but that was sort of strange to me. >.>

That game is still pissing me off. D:

I've got two.

Animamundi: made of win and love. Does anyone know if Georik actually gets with anyone, or is it all just fanservice?

Ishika and Honori: giant pile of suck.

I'm still too lazy to get back to that one. D: That and Mio's ending in Phantom. >.< Amyway, I'd say it's pretty likely that there are romantic endings. Not sure if you can do that with Lilith though. >.> Hm... Well I'll sure as hell try.

About Ishika and Honori... The combat sort o dissapointed me... and pisses me off since I can't figure out how to go down certain story paths since I KNOW I didn't get all of the art. Otherwise I'd like it if more than just three characters have voices. Really, everyone (except for the main character in some cases) should have a voice, no matter how minor they are. Like in Tea Society of a Witch. The treacher has like, one line, and he has a voice.

The combat was horrible, the scenes went way too long without save points, the plot takes forever to do anything.. (based on the fact that I haven't gotten anywhere yet, and I am not going to.)

I burst out laughing at how "well" the voice acting fit with the text. Something about Ishika screaming at Honori, and Honori realizing that now was the time for her to STFU..
"Ho.. no.. ri.."
