I decided to create this thread for any fans of music fromabout the 80's and before. I am a big fan of 70's music.... I am not sure why but I really like lots of songs. So if you want to talk about any, feel free to come here.

I'm a big metalhead and I love the bands that came out of the 80's. Anthrax and Metallica are two big influences in my playing.
I'm also a huge fan of Bauhaus

I am a forever fan of the Beatles, despite how overrated some people believe they may be.
Frank Sinatra is just as wonderful. It pains me to hear people say "Heeey, this Frank Sinatra person stole Fly Me To the Moon from Evangelion!"

I have a few that I like from back in the day. Slayer, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Lynard Skynard, Pink Floyd. Good stuff.

It pains me to hear people say "Heeey, this Frank Sinatra person stole Fly Me To the Moon from Evangelion!" I would even be pained by that Frank Sinatra comment. It is true the beatles are undeniably one of the biggest music influences of all time. I am personally not a big fan of metal I am more of a fan of easy listening and pop songs. The Carpenters are one of my biggest favourites and I like the Pretenders as well. Jenifer Rush is good, I think she was more popular in the US compared to here in the UK.

I...don't really study song names. I just know when a song I like is on from the first few beats. It sounds odd, I know.

I don't even know what time I'm from,
haha. I just know the damn music,
that should be enough!
But put on an oldies station and I could probably since most of the songs.
Why does music have to suck so much now a days.
