Why did I not make this thread earlier?



Anyway, for those of us that don't know Shakugan no Shana is an anime liscensed be Geneon scheduled for release in September.

Shakugan no Shana is another anime based off a novel series (not a visual novel! >.<) there are 13 books of it spanning for volumes 1-12 + 0 it seems. There will be a movie made that's supposedly a prequel and there seems to be a visual novel. The sereis is 26 episodes, produced by J.C. Staff, and hence, has awesome animation.

Shakugan no Shana is basically about a guy named Yuuji who was running an average life until one day, when he was returning home from school, time froze and a gaint baby and a ball of floating heads appeared and literally started eating people. Basicaly hjust as soon a girl with vibrant red hair and eyes shows up felling the beast. However in the process he learns he is no longer human and hasn't been for some time. He is told that in time, he is a "torch," and will eventaully disappear from existance by this girl. Not knowing what to do Yuuji struggles and sticks around this girl, who he decided to name Shana, since she had no name before. Shakugan no Shana is about these too and thier fight against things that damage creation and reality, filled with beutiful art, lovable character, and awesome action, Shakugan no Shana is one of my favorite series.

Apparently the novels are still being produced. Well, from what my brother says. Which makes me very happy.

Shakugan no Shana is an amazing anime!
I love how Shana is so simple and her melon bread obssesion is super cute.

I saw some episodes but wasn't very impressed. I really like the character design and music.

Del Rey picked up the manga.

This makes me happy.

YOu should be able to see at least four once it comes out in September... unless the release date gets pushed back or Geneon suddenly decides to be cheap.

That's what the Whole Kazumi and Shana fighting over Yuuji thing is for. xp Yup, which is why I want the visual novel.
