Currently I have practice from 6am till 4 pm on Marching and Rifle Drill on an air strip for the next week and a half. I'm going to bring my camera down there and try to post some nice pictures of us with rifles and our LBVs on... Military gear... Forgive me if I haven't been around lately, especially since I just got accepted into this guild. I'll be around as soon as I can.

That's cool man. Where are you stationed? I'm shipping off to bootcamp in the Marines myself in June of 2007.

June 2007? What's your MOS going to be? I'm currently stationed in Iwakuni, Japan 1st MAW, MAG 12. If ya got any questions about the Marine life, message me or make a new topic in the thread group.
As for the ceramony pictures, it was extremely long and tiring because we stood around with our rifles for 2 or 3 hours.... Didnt' exactly time it... So here are the pictures.

User Image
Myself with an M16A2 wearing my LBV. I have 6 magazines in my pouches, but you can't really see them, me thinks...

User Image
Couple of Marines chilling before the ceramony...

User Image
Little toy in the background that always flies over us... Loud and annoying, but fun to watch!

User Image
Me and a buddy of mine on the right, Yoder.

User Image
Nice little formation picture.

User Image
My weapon from my point of view.

User Image
A separate platoon on the other side of the hanger.

User Image
Our sargents making a close interval so that the lower ranks can form up behind them.

Unfortunatly since I was part of the formation, I couldn't take a picture of the band playing and the actual ceramony take place... I'll try to see if I can post some small clips of us marching though... if I can.

I hope these were to everyone's taste. ^_^

Whats weird is the feeling you get when looking at those pictures. I just feel akward that they're not on a history site, and they're on a whimsical site like Gaia sweatdrop Its cool... Cause Gaians are cool.

It is on our Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni history books. As well as on the list of very important things for the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Hagee. So these pictures are just as memorable. And sharing them here is just as good as on the history books because Gaians are also protected by Marines. So I'm just your local Marine that you can chill out with, no matter my rank or whatever.
