Tactics for PSX. xp Still love that one. Although... I still really want five... That is... since it's the last one with a huge class system that's single player.

//& FFX for me!

I find that whatever your first FF is, it tends to be your favourite XD It might not apply to everyone... XD I guess it's just that feeling of playing a widely known series and getting into the plot... But FFX is just too, awesome :3 I like how they had that whole sphere grid system for leveling up. I didn't like X-2 at all -.- There was no point to it...

My first FF I played was 8 and I love FF 7. FFVIII has the best love story that I've seen for a game. But FFVII has the best story line thus far cuz of the great characters and plot.

I have to agree on the first is your favorate thing, because ffVIII was my first, and it STILL is my favorate. It has an awe-inspiriring 'love during war' theme, and the cgs are great concidering when it was made and sold.
X-2 however is still an awesome game-not as good as X, but it still rocks the gaming industry in my eyes. It was mainly used for a sort of backup plan, while Square Enix thought of what to have in number eleven-a way of stalling for time, if you will-but it turned out to be better then they thought it could ever be. Not to mention if you beat the game, the ending videos are completely insane! The graphics are out of this universe-were-were out of this universe, untill XII came out.

Have you beaten the game? The final version of Sephiroth is near impossible to beat for me.(Im still struggling with beating him) and you're right, 7 has the best plot, 8 has the best love story, 9 has the most lovable characters, 10 has the best leveling up system, 10-2 has the best range of weapons and suits, 11 has the best (not to mention, only) online experience, and 12 I have yet to play.

Another thing about X-2, it has the widest range of storyline paths. I mean if you dont do something, it can and will bite you in the a*& for it later. For example, i forgot to pick up one of the crimson sheres, and then i couldnt get it from the point i was in, and therefore i could not enter the den of woe. After i beat that one, i replayed it and got the sheres, and got to see the greatest cg's of the game-also the ending was a helluva lot better.

Actually, multiple endings is something fairly common in PRGs. IT may be due to romance, due to how well you do in the game, an option you made during the game, or what you do during it, but there's a number of endingd for many RPGs.

As far as endings are concerned, tri-Ace games tend to have a lot. Valkyrie Profile has 3, Radiata Stories has 2, Star Ocean 3 has like...10, Star Ocean 2 has well a LOT (I'm not going to try calculating it. >.< There's about 12 characters, two main characters you can play as, you can have 8 in your party total, and each of the characters can be paired up with any of the other ones even if it is difficult. Yup, I'm totally not going to calculate that.), and I really don't know about the first Star Ocean. Valkyrie Profile Sylmeria Isn't out yet so I can't say anything about that either.

I loved Final Fantasy VII.

I had a few dislikes of the other ones for PSX that came afterwards.
VIII's plotline had several loopholes, unanswered questions, and if you look at it, there is a large loop through it all.
IX was good in the beginning and all, but after a while, I noticed a few things. One thing being they started recycling. The Earth, Water, Air, and Fire shrines and their guardian creatures, all taken from the very first. Slight modifications yes, but recyclings none-the-less. And Memoria just, for some reason, did remind me of in the original Final Fantasy, where you went to an alternate reality (Or back in time, being the original game's case,) to fight the final boss. And then they throw in this guy who apparently has been controlling Kuja all this time, and they have no story behind his purpose. Unless I missed a part or something.

X was good. Just a bit short.

X-2. D:

That's all I want to say about it.

IX was the best IMO.
XI is the most fun to play.
Tatics was probally the hardest.

Colourful
I haven't played a single one.

But I want to (I'm definitely buying XII).
