A book publishing company which originally stuck strictly to novels and the like, about 2-3 years ago started into the manga industry, picking up what would later become huge titles such as Negima!, Tsubasa: Resevoir Chornicles and Gundam Seed.
Now they've branched out and managed to pick up quite a few more. Other titles such as Genshiken, Mermaid Melody and their latest acquisition, Sakugan No Shana, originally liscenced by Tokypop.
This thread is for the discussion of manga's produced by the company, manga's you'd like to see be picked up by them and release dates.

I love Negima, even though it does take the concept of a harem manga a little far. Granted, they aren't all in love with him, but there are a good half dozen or so that are interested in more than what he can teach them about English. wink
My only problem with the company is just a minor quibble over the price. I know that they aren't as big as Viz or Tokyopop, so they have to charge more for a book, but $10.95 is probably as far as I'll go for a tankobon-sized book. If they want to charge more, they oughta make them the same size as the regular comics. I'd be willing to spend up to $15 for a normal sized GN.

Well I love the fact they brached out once more to more adult manga. Basalisk is a great read even thought they uped the price on it compared with other manga.

They just released Air Gear *sqwee!* being the big Air Gear junkie that I am, can now own it!
Negima! Was awesome (so much fan service though e.e) I like how they don't cut anything. Viz did that to Dr. Slump x.x and I wasn't really happy...

It just seemed a little too teenagerish for me or something...

Del Rey does an excellent job in translation. They actually take the time to explain some of the inside jokes that we're not familiar with in the back (xxxHOLiC).

It just seemed a little too teenagerish for me or something... XD That might be true... I've watched some Eureka 7, but I like all the fan service in AG :3 I like them both for the action and fan service. It's just that AG came first (and I'm a big Jet Set Radio fan)

I just found the most awesome manga yesterday and it's being released by Del Rey.
From the same person who did the art and story for the FLCL manga, Q-Ko-Chan has the same art style and the same odd plot.
Buy it if you can, it's really good.
