6 AM. Still not asleep. Transformers Cybertron is on in the background. I must be manic again. Normally I cycle rapidly but all day has been mania. I have a doctor appointment in 14 hours. I need to sleep.

Xanax has failed. It usually works.

What do others do when they can't sleep? I know it's different from a manic episode version of insomnia, but still they must do something.

I suppose I will just continue as I am until I feel as though I could even attempt sleep.

Too bad I have no artistic talent at all. They say that during episodes of mania those who can paint/draw/write/etc can create things of incredible craftsmanship.

Minor success. After about 30 minutes of Bad Religion I think I fell asleep. I was awoken by the phone. My doctor wanted to know if I wanted to come in at 2:45 rather than 8. Sorry, no can do. I can't drive.

Oh well, I'm up now.

.//damnit Dx
I was deffinatly on at this time.

Went to bed around 9am this morning,
woke up at 11am due to a phonecall.

A massive amount of Tylenol PM usually works,
but I suppose I've gotten so used to it that the effects don't work as well on me.
Rather sucks.

Long ago that used to work for me too. So did Excedrin PM, Nyquil, and various other OTC sleep aids.

The problem is when in a manic state almost no meds work as they should. I eventually fell asleep, just many hours later than I had wanted too.

As for early morning phone calls, I despise them. A ringing phone waking me is like getting hit in the face with a brick. Not to mention I usually have no idea what is going on or who I am talking to.

So in short, sleep good, phone bad.

Troli Brite Crawlers. I have found that two Benadryl and a bag of those usually work well. If not, take three Benadryl. Drawing and listening to Slayer also works to calm the nerves while your eating the gummy worms.
