I may've just wasted 2.5k on this but it was on my list so I figured I'd just go ahead. Post your problems or questions here. (Preferably Gaia-related things but other problems may be acceptible too as long as you don't get silly about it.)
For now the FAQ is in the second post. Last updated: 11/06/06 Thanks to Vox for getting the ball rolling on questions.
1. Gaia's and Temple Rules apply.
2. Check the Resources thread before posting.
3. Be patient. It may take awhile for someone to check this forum.
3a. Be polite when helped/helping.
4. No bumping. (Except in the highly unlikely event your thread falls off the first page unanswered.)
5. If you have multiple questions at one time, put them in the same post/thread.
5a. If you think of more questions at another time it is acceptible to create a new thread for them.
6. Please make your thread titles relevant to at least one question in your thread. (EX: Need help with Dream Avatar Creator.)

~ FAQ ~
Q. How do I find a member's usernumber? A. Easy-peasy. Go to their profile. At the end of the URL in the location bar will be an = followed by a series of numbers. That series of numbers is the member's usernumber.
Q. How do I keep a guild from showing up on my guild list in my profile? A. (Taken from the GGN FAQ) Visit the home page of the guild you want to keep hidden from your guild list and look near the bottom of the page for a link that says, "This guild is currently displayed on your profile page, click here to hide this guild.". That will take you to an option that allows you to hide that particular guild from your guild list. (Felly's note: Before you do this you may want to bookmark that guild so you can find it again. Clicking the link completely hides the guild, even from you.)Edit: I have to correct myself. After a certain amount of time (and it could've just been a glitch initially) I was able to view all my guilds including this one by going to Community>Guilds>My Guilds while the Temple is still hidden via [view guilds] in my profile.Q. How do I post my inventory? A. If you have a graphics program and an image host, you can make a graphic of the items you wish to display/sell. (This is especially useful for Towns/Game items since the other way won't display them. ) The other way: As you make a post there should be a little menu in the upper left corner over your text block box (the thing you type into) that says Post Style. (It would be right next to Post Action.) The next-to-last option [Display Inventory] allows you to put selected items from your inventory onto your post by highlighting them individually on a dropdown list and clicking the button entitled: Add To Display. The limit is 18 items per post. A second post would be needed to display more (this would fall under the category of acceptible bumps in the Commerce Forum.) Note that once displayed these items are not editable so if you are using this Style to show items for sale you have to update in a separate post.Note 2: At one point in time only the first few items from your inventory could be displayed. It appears now that the entire inventory list is available and organized alphabetically. Don't quote me on this considering I'm looking @ Ducky's inven as I type and his is teensy. Game items cannot be displayed. (I seem to remember however that this was not always the case.)Q. How do I post-stalk somebody with the new profile system? A. First, remember that Gaia doesn't encourage stalking. *grin* However, this is useful if you're the sort of person to want to check a user's behavior before you take that oh-so-important action of donating to them.Three ways. First, you can look for the little ? icon on the person's profile page (it should be at the top somewhere.) Clicking it will give you a menu and an option to view the user's posts in that menu. The other (slightly more involved ways): take the person's user# and add it to the end of this link: (or alternatively you can go to that link and just type in the person's username and select POSTS)http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/search.php?action=userposthistory&search_author= Q. How many items can be in your house/suitcase? A. 100. (Felly found this one out the hard way. =( So much for my event collections.)
Q. What are the dimensions of the aquarium signature widget? A. 385 pixels in width by 180 pixels high(note in this instance I screencapped it twice, getting 178 the first time and 179 the second time. It's always good to round up.) The kb size is unknown. Since it's a flash doohickey or whatever I'm pretty sure it's barely legal by itself.
