Addicting. But why so? I mean, it's farming. Farming made fun?
ABSOLUTE BLASPHEMY.
But it's happened. D:
..
So, anyone else play Harvest Moon? Any of the games, from the original SNES Harvest Moon to Harvest Moon: Mystical Melody or Harvest Moon DS.
What do you like about them? Is there a favorite thing you do in the game?

I have Harvsest Moon DS. Its addiction in a disk. Seriously when I first got it I played fore a week straight. They only thing that got me to break the addicting was when my friend got Chrome Hounds and a XBox360. Is it just me or did that sound really bad?
A XBox 360 or an XBox 360? Is x considered a vowel? 'Cause a just sounds really bad.
Back on topic, I'm going to pick up Magical Melody probably this weekend when I go get my scanner and to see if the GameStop is reserving Wiis yet. Hopefully they are so I get it all done at once. I'm also going to get A Wonerful Life and possibly Another Wonderful Life. Just to see if you can be a lesbian. The PS2 Harvest Moon wasnt all that good. Limiting the game to one year and making the whole point of he game to make friends was kinda dumb.

Harvest Moon DS isn't out in the UK yet crying but I think it comes out at the end of November. So I will probably get it the day it's released. That should keep me going till Christmas. 3nodding

I've played Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town & More friends of mineral town, also a wonderful life (for gamecube). It was so addictive! I think A Wonderful Life wasn't that good and really confusing. I gave one of my GBA ones to my best friend and she's totally hooked! She keeps asking me things about everything. I remember when I went on holiday to India, I think, and all I did was sit by the poolside and played Harvest Moon on my GBA.

I've played Friends of mineral town, magical melody, and I have harvest moon ds. The ds one is my favorite so far I liked the characters in a wonderful life but they otherwise ruined the game in my opinion. I was so happy when i found out that Harvest Moon DS was an updated version of A wonderful life. heart

Haha, the N64 Harvest Moon was enough for me. After that i didn't buy any more of the games. Not that it's not fun or anything.

I own Friends of Mineral Town, Another Wonderful Life, and Magical Melody.
My game on FOMT is 2 years old, and I'm still playing it.
All hail Harvest Moon!

I didn't enjoy Harvest Moon all that much, I felt it was too repetitive...

Whats the point of travelling if all you are going to do is play videogames? catgirlsPLZ I didn't enjoy Harvest Moon all that much, I felt it was too repetitive... Yes, I find it does get rather repetitive towards the end of the game (especially when the farm is so large it takes all day to harvest), but its still worth it just for the first half/two-thirds of the game, when you ge to set up your farm and watch it grow, get a girlfriend, upgrade your house, gather wood, go to festivals, etc.

Little.~.Dragon Yes, I was really sad. However, we couldn't really go anywhere because my dad had injured his head. I'm not going to chastise you for "not using this opportunity" or whatever, but it just does seem a waste of time and money to spend your travels playing Harvest Moon. Of course, if there was something (as you say) holding you back from going out, well now, that is a different story.

I have Harvest Moon 64. I have NO IDEA why it's so addicting. I can't stop playing for the longest time, and then for some odd reason, I just quit playing. I think the longest file I ever had was 7 years before it got erased
