Welcome to the Grindery, a giant moving castle powered by the very essence of the 4 Dragons of Althena. The Grindery is the power behind Ghaleon's throne, with the destructive force to tear the very planet apart at its seams. This is the offensive base of the Magic Empire of Ghaleon, and the base from which he shall enforce his regime and rule this and all his other territory on Gaia.
The Grindery is where the Magic Emperor is said to spend most of his time while ruling the Magic Empire, because of the extreme power the Grindery holds. Remnants of the Vile Tribe and the warriors of the Empire are often found guarding the lower levels of this area, and at the top, lies the control room which is only capable of being controlled by the Magic of Ghaleon. Beyond the control room is the final room...the Chamber of the Magic Emperor. Here is where the fates have told the timeless battle for all the world will be held. He who emerges from this room to the top of the Grindery will be known as the victor, and rightful defender of the lands.
The Grindery can only be entered by winning a string of dangerous battles before the very gates of the Tower. Once finished, a secret password is necessary to enter (this password will be a Key Item, and entry to the actual Grindery is impossible...unless Ghaleon allows it... without this password.)
The timeless technology of Taben ensures the Emperor's victory over the ignorant fools who would oppose Ghaleon. With the Grindery fully operational, will the world once again belong to the Magic Emperor on a delicious half-shell? As it was always meant to be?
(Training battles in the Magic Empire's highest ranks will be held here, in front of the Grindery, where the Generals and the Magic Emperor can scout talent. Also, large-scale battles would be held here, in front of the monstrous treads of the Empire's deadliest weapon.)

The lights shone brightly in the dark sky, piercing the night with their unearthly glow. The beams were as large as dragon tails, illuminating both earth and sky as they scanned the area surrounding the great moving fortress of the Empire. Power surged through the bowels of the great mechanism, and a low hum echoed through the trees, emanating from the castle. It was both quiet and ominous...peaceful and deadly...the Grindery of the Magic Emperor, Ghaleon.
And atop the great fortress stood the Emperor, his eyes narrowed and cast towards the horizon in the Northeast...where his Crystal City, the City of the Ancients stood unguarded. Sephiroth had disappeared. And with him had gone the insurance policy that protected the Gem of the Empire.
'Word will spread throughout the world like wildfire once this little development becomes apparent,' he thought, though a smirk graced his lips. 'Let them believe we are weak...'
An ethereal, dark-purple glow encompassed him, bolts of energy and lightning crackling around him. He turned his back on the City of the Ancients as the power began to surge even stronger, the glow overwhelming his form and leaving only a sillhouette visible from the outside.
Moments later the glow disappeared, and with it, so went the mighty Emperor.

The Emperor frowned as he gazed into the horizon, well aware of the happenings in Aron and Callisto. These past few days had not gone well for the cities of the Empire, and even in the defeat at Aron the Aronian Prince still claimed victory. His audacity never seemed to amaze...
'Then again, perhaps amaze is too strong a word,' the fallen hero smirked, 'his audacity never ceases to amuse me.' Ghaleon turned his back to the scene before him, deciding that if his presence would not be felt via the forces of Callisto, then he would make it known by some other means.
His crimson eyes peered over his shoulder, as thunder rumbled in the distance. Soon after, a flash of lightning lit the night sky...and with it came an idea. Yes, it was an idea that was sure to create an uproar throughout the world.
'A monster,' he decided, nearly chuckling at how cliche` it all seemed. "A monster of the Earth, created for the sole purpose of cleansing the world of the waste that pollutes it. A terrible weapon...to inspire fear into the hearts of those wretched men."
Ghaleon walked to the edge of his tower and gazed down at the ground below. He raised a palm and suddenly, a great chasm formed that split the parched earth in two. A bright and horrible light emitted from the chasm, and a tremendous roar shook the very foundations of the land surrounding it.
The skies darkened, lightning crashing around the great mound of metal that was the Grindery. The light grew stronger and from the chasm emerged a fearsome giant. The Emperor watched proudly as the creature was raised. This would be his Weapon...and it would bring the world to its knees.
"Rise, creature of the Earth. Come forth and do my bidding! Rid this world of that which pollutes her, and in the process, rid me of those who would oppose my Magic Empire!" Crimson eyes narrowed dangerously, and a tremendous laugh boomed across the expanse of the great valley before him.
The creature merely released another great roar before taking off to the skies...to unleash its own personal Hell upon the outside world.

The great moving castle of the Empire stood intimidatingly in the central plain of his lands. The clouds never lifted in that dangerous place, yet the thunderbolts that crashed around him never once were drawn to the mechanical marvel. It was unnatural, but then, so was the power behind the storms. That power belonged to the Emperor himself, the Magic Emperor Ghaleon.
At the tip of his fortress he stood, his eyes cast down at the plain below. Soon, his warlord would return with much of his Empire's forces. Vossler would wield the might of his master, and with it, his will would be done upon his enemies. The time had come, at last.
The first great strike of the Magic Empire was at hand.

Onyx walked into the area, still reading that blasted book. She seemed to be engrossed in it's contents yet understood and knew about everything that was going on around her. She made a motion with her free hand, making a rock plateform for her to sit on. She kicked her feet in the air as she flipped the page of her book.

"Hello my king... my friends, and my allies. Today we shall rise higher than the darkness disguises us, today we shall make light only out of the spark our swords and weapons create after slashing, smashing, and scewering their bodies to a mere pulp barely recognizable by even their own parents. Too long has it been since my blade has tasted blood...", Sephiroth continued only with a laugh of maniacle laughter at it's insanest!, "too long has it been since my blade has chewed the bonein my most hated of enemies.. and this taste will only be the sweeter my Masamune, because THEY ARE THE BONES OF THE EMPEROR'S ENEMIES.... MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA MWUAHAHA HAHAHA!!!"
Sephiroth started slashing the air a couple of times before finally holding his arms up high as if he was going to grab the sun itself.

Onyx turned her emerald eyes to Sepiroth before back to her book. Turning the page in her book, she mentally wondered what was going to happen next. She knew about what they were going to do but she didn't know what they were going to now.

Lloyd landed, folding his silver wings and watching his lord's diabolical show, wondering what had possessed Sephiroth to such near madness. Standing by a pillar nearby, he drew forth the blade that could kill dragons...looking at it once more, he smirked. If all was as they envisioned...perhaps he would take himself a worthy prize in this battle.

Vossler appeared in the grand castle of the Grindery, knowing it as his one true home...if he had any, at all. He wondered through the hallways quickly, watching as many of the soldiers of Ghaleon withdrew at the sight of him...for none trusted that they wouldn't meet their ends at his blade. 'Just the way I like 'em...' he thought, smirking.
Entering the grand room at the top, filled with the motif of Ghaleon's ancient rule and power, Vossler smirked. "We are ready! Together, we shall embark upon the most glorious crusade this world has ever SEEN! We shall at last remove the hold Ghaleon has so preciously given the Rebellion, and make this world his gem to rule over for eternity!" He walked past Lloyd, Onyx, Sephiroth and all, approaching the summit wherein he would find Ghaleon. The time was at hand...the Grindery's treads would tear the earth assunder, and crush the Rebellion underneath it!

As hours had passed, and Sephiroth's sanity came back to him completely, he started to again crave for his plan on Costa Del Sol to go through. "Ghaleon, I know it's a huge risk, and it will be costly for us... but if we attack them there, when they are gathered and tired, then we have our greatest chance for domination! Yes, there is an army there, but it's not like any of us aren't powerful enough to silence an army in the most of 2 blasts. Also, what is there to taking a city if it's fighters for the most part still live on to take them back in the future. By attacking Costa Del Sol, we'd take out MANY of the rebellions most powerful fighters, and we definitely have the power to do so between those in this room, and the many that will be coming along as well, including my allies." Sephirtoh was very reluctant to attack according to Ghaleon's plans, but his loyalty lies where it does, and he would follow through. But the will to try for his way is one that isn't easily silenced. "I'm not trying to undermine you, but not only is this the more epic and honorable fight, but I could also have at Cloud and his heroes again!"

The Emperor smirked down at the Black Wizard and knew that his lust for battle was growing by the minute. How he must ache for the chance to avenge his death at the hands of the ex-SOLDIER...the very thought of it must have been consuming his very mind. Yet, for the wisdom in his words there was also overconfidence, and to attack the hornets' nest that was the Tournament at this moment would be to risk provoking nearly every major civilization in the world.
"The last thing we want to do for the Rebellion at this point is to unify them with many of the neutral villages because we attacked their precious Tournament all at once," the Emperor explained. "Besides, why settle for a replacement city when we can make a strike at the very heart of this pathetic movement. Those fools have opened their very chests to our blades, I would be remiss if I were not to relieve them of their pathetic existence."

Those fools have opened their very chests to our blades, I would be remiss if I were not to relieve them of their pathetic existence." Sephiroth very quickly turned to a case of dissappointment, while he understands they might unify... there really isn't much to unify with considering the largest neutral city threat is Mt. Hakutei, and in all reality... it was more than just Cloud, it was the thirst to oppose them all and kill them in their pathetic pools of tainted blood... for they were not pure of mother like he was, and they didn't even the dignity and resolve to follow Ghaleon and his mother in conquest of this world. "Ghaleon, I understand. But even a beehive cannot be organized without the will of their queen, kill her and it's only time before they disperse and die one after another. I will do your bidding no matter your will and ways, but my passion can only be attained at maximum when I'm battling for something I beleive in. While we will win, this is not feeling like when when there is only but a rat to fight to overtake the cellar." Sephiroth walked back into the darkness, he didn't want to have anymore word, because he knew that nothing would come of it. Though he longed for it, he promised himself that he would take as many men as he could muster, and lead a charge directly after the attacks on Aron and Meribia.

Onyx continued to read her book. "The heart of the Rebellion." She thought about something. "Hmmm. . .finally attacking the root of all the other weeds. . . . ." She said absent mindly, knowing only Ghaleon would understand why she said such a thing. Onyx had yet to move from her spot nor put her book down.

"Mmm, yes. A hive cannot be organized without its queen, and it is precisely this rationale that should dictate that we do not follow your course of action," Ghaleon chided the general who appeared to be far more concerned about his own goals than his Emperor's. "Why waste so much manpower to reclaim a city that is virtually meaningless to us when the queen of their hive resides so carelessly guarded in its home?"
The ancient mage smirked down at his warriors, "If we eliminate their queen, the bees will lose their purpose and scatter into the world. Their organization will be lost, and with their capital city under our control, there will be nowhere left for them to turn. Do you understand, now?"
'It is a classic war maneuver, servants of my great Empire. Kill the general, claim their capital, and our victory in this war shall be assured."

"Don't tell me you plan on going to war without calling me," a chilling voice echoed through the darkness above. A swirl of ominous dark descended from the clouds, a feral grin taut on the lips of the wielder of the Great White Wolf. He hovered over most of the Emperor's servants who must have been watching from below, but his eyes were set only on the man who had created this world. It was a man he had served, and served well, for many-a-year.
It was his thirst for blood that made him a handy servant, and it was his efficiency in delivering said carnage that made him a great one. Now, with this great battle looming over the heads of all, he had once again made the trip southeast to the center of the Empire's realm to revel in the destruction once more. There would be no mistake...his Emperor would heed his lustful call for death.
The Wolf would spread his icy brand of darkness once more.
