Yeah, today I logged on, went and posted in an OOC thread for an RP guild I was in, hen I went to check my messages as I had recieved one. I looked at it and it was a quoted copy of the myspace bulletin "10 things stupid people do on myspace" except it was addapted for Gaia. I then reply and said to the person who sent it not to send me s**t like that again.
Now, I was wondering when this whole spacer spam whore infiltration began and for the biggest question of all, why? If myspace is so damned addicting, why the hell are those who spend a few hours a day hitting the refresh button for the mail thats bound to show up, post bulletins about going to go take a shower, coming to Gaia? Copying and pasting the bulletin and sending them through the PMs? Why arent they sitting there doing what they always do? Why come here? Why do people here follow them and become Spacer Spam Whores?
This is the first adapted bulletin I have recieved, all the others were exact copies.
Anyway, discuss, as I want to find a reason for this infestation, aside from boredom.
I have created a group on myspace, and am going to make a guild here on Gaia dedicated to the erradication of this problem. So for those who have a myspace account and who has had this happen to you, and it pisses you off, please join, for a better Gaia. I'll post the guild when I get the 20k for it.
