I just bought a hematite ring over vacation and checked to see what kinds of properties hematite has, and while I was at it I decided to look up properties for another ring I wear everyday. This ring is white gold with a blue zircon. I found information about gold, but was wondering if someone could tell me if white gold differs in any way?

I can't say if it would have any differences in mystical properties, but I do know that white gold is only slightly chemically different from standard yellow gold. It's got a special kind of impurity, but that can be from a couple of things and it's less than 1% if it's 24k. If it's less than 14k, it's diluted by about half with an alloy of mostly nickel.
