I dont know if any of you have a Wii to speak of. I do, so I will make a thread about Twilight Princess without ruining the story for you.
Pretty much you are a descenant of "The Hero" from Ocarina of Time(Link from OoT is reffered to as The Hero for as much of the game as I am through). A friend pushes off an important duty on you that makes you leave for Hyrule Castle in two days. You get your first sword after earning a slingshot through completeing various tasks about the village. Soon you are teaching the village kids to sword fight. One of them goes chasing after a monkey and you go to rescue him when he gets owned by some goblins. You get him and come back and get ready to leave the village. More crazy stuff happens that's related to the story so you shant be reading it from me. And Twilight falls on all of Hyrules provinces when you wake up from a club to the back of the head.
After a brief cinema and fight with a shadow beast you go to see the wall of Twilight and are grabbed and taken within it. Being the direct descendant of Link turns you into a wolf instead of the shadow beast. You are imprisoned where you meet Midna, the "new" Navi, as your pointer on the controller is Navi. and you, she doesnt yell "Hey listen!" every fifteen seconds. And the rest of the game unfolds in a far more dark story than any Zelda game I have played to date. You meet a white wolf who attacks you after turning into a human once more right before the first dungeon, who teaches you new moves. He does this the rest of the game, though you must seek him out, unlike your first meeting.
The controls are almost seemlessly adapted for the Wii controller, though sometimes it doesnt read a full combo, probably because I dont sit directly in front of the sensor.
The new Hero's techniques are freaking awesome. They range from simple shield strikes and a finishing move to use on downed foes to my favorite, the Helm Spliter and my least favorite, due to I suck at it, the Back Slice, which is pretty powerful as well.
Discuss this awesome game.
Oh and I forgot to mention, I know why it has a Teen rating. It has a lot of boobs and and nipples. Specially when the Gorons get involved. sweatdrop

major_kittens Yay, twilight princess! I'm stuck in the Yeti's house... This game is really awesome though I'm stuck in the Sky City place. That whole damn place is a dungeon with a shop. Yes it is awesome. I found myself wondering why I cant go on a mystical quest to destroy some evil being last night. It made me sad. Oh and have you gotten the ball and chain yet? If so, use it on everything this ice that you can.

The Sky City... God, I just got the second claw shot and dont know what to do with it. Game is freaking hard. I got stuck in the Temple of Time a few times.
I'm glad its not another save Zelda story though. I wonder how it's going to end.

I wonder how it's going to end.the only problem I had with the temple of time was I got the statue down to the bottom, but I forgot to get the Big Key, so I had to go back and find it. After you get the second hookshot just start hookshoting onto anything you can see. you'll find the way out eventually, thats what I did. The temple after that is really easy though.

Its alot of fun, I thought the fight with Zant was far too easy though. I had to help a friend of mine in each of the temples, and only played a little myself, he let me fight Zant, which was easy, especially since that was my first time playing, and a little more, its a good game though.

I started playing on the Wii, as my boyfriend has one. Then I got the gamecube version for Christmas, and started playing on there. Fortunately, I was only collecting the tears in Kakariko Village, so I didn't have to go through a whole lot. . . but the mirrored game really screwed me up at first!
Unfortunately, though, I've seen my boyfriend play almost the entire way through, with the exception of a few of the temples, so I know everything that happens >.< (Even though I'm just before the miniboss in the Arbiter's Grounds. . .)

It was.....decent. It was great but not amazing as everyone expected. OOC was by far the best in the series. (I liked the Arbiters grounds though, such an awesome level, even the item) The last part of the final battle was so much fun, most fun i've had in a while! so cool. Especially on the Wii.
