Deep in the dank, dimly lit portions of the Caverns, something stirs, a large, crystal-like structure set deep within an immense column begins to glow. Were one to touch the structure, they would discover it to be a rather large ice crystal. As the crystal begins to glow brighter and brighter, a pocket of pitch blackness can be seen in the center, growing larger and stirring. In moments the crystal shatters with a resounding boom and a massive figure, clad in heavy black robes falls out, landing on it's hands and knees, letting out a chilling howl. It's icy blue eyesockets peer out through the darkness as cold steam billows out from said hollows. It was Death, or something akin to Death. Letting out another howl, it lowers it's grey skinned, skull-like face which is then covered by it's black hood. A few moments pass, the local preditors, all mutated from the heavy mist in the area, begin to surround the new creature as it's form shrinks and becomes more recognizable. The black robes become an ornately designed coat, the hood becomes long black hair draping over a not so pale, human face. Black leather boots, complete with spurs are mostly covered by a pair of tight fitting jeans with a series of patches covering several worn bullet holes which lead up to an equally worn, black t-shirt, also riddled with holes. Adorning the man's person are several weapons; strapped to his back are two swords, one black with an intricate, key-like design and the other an infamous sword belonging to a fallen king. While on his hips are two whips, one of a fiery design, while the other appears to be of a much colder nature, these whips share the same strappings as a pair of silvery gauntlets who shine with a mysterious light. Also at the man's side, half buried in the ice on the ground is a rather large, double barreled handgun, the upper barrel apparently for firing custom .45 magnums and the lower for firing a unique set of mini-grenades from a six-barreled pistol chamber. Standing to his feet, the strange, yet familiar man picks up the peculiar gun but makes no move to attack the beasts surrounding him, rather he appears to await their move. He wouldn't have to wait long, however, as a large wolf leaps at him, aiming to tear his head off. As if anticipating this, the man leans back and backflips, his boot connecting with the wolf's jaw and tearing it's head off instead. Landing on his feet, the man, who's face is now covered by his own raven black hair, stands with his right palm out and his left behind his back, striking a taunting pose. This, added to the quick death of the wolf, drives the other beasts to attack him at once. As they move to strike, the man simply grins and says two words, "Stand still." As he says this, he appears to vanish as a blur leaps from creature to creature, tearing them apart. As Quicksilver wears off, time speeds up around the man, causing several after images of him to follow the man as he resumes his original position to watch the beasts fall. Spinning the gun in his left hand, the man pushes his hair back with his right, revealing his face. The one time liutenent to a dark god had returned, only this time he was far more powerful. Holstering the unique gun, Lucas begins the trek to escape the caverns he'd long since been buried in.
