Horam is the root town of martial arts, and inside it's stone walls it holds a treasuretrove of knowledge about the martial arts. The city is home to many different martial arts, including the legendary Blue Dragon Fist, and it is rare that any of its secrets leak from its borders. In the center of the city is Wong Lee's Pagoda, where a special challenge awaits anyone who believes they have mastered their body and mind to its peek. Across the river, imbedded in a mountain recess is also a large arena stained red with the blood of those who fought and died there where the Tournament of Death is held.
(Zeo's Side Note: Do NOT come here! They're all serious, and there are NO vending machines! You can't bring any sports drinks in here either! Plus, there's only one hot chick in the village and she can kick your butt! And if you try to study and stuff, she'll probably wanna spar and kick your butt even MORE! And did I mention, NO sports drinks!?!?)
Blue Dragon Fist: The Blue Dragon Fist is the 'true' martial art, focusing on the mastery of mental and physical abilities. The Blue Dragon Fist draws upon the light in someone's heart, and grows stronger when the person using it has strong bonds with their friends, or a special bond to a person. The only way to fully master the Blue Dragon Fist is by completing the Wong Lee Pagoda Quest.
Shadow Dragon Fist: The Shadow Dragon Fist is also known as the assassin fist, and is the opposite of the Blue Dragon Fist. The Shadow Dragon Fist draws upon the darkness in someone's heart, and grows stronger when the person cuts off all emotions of the heart save anger. The only way to fully master the Shadow Dragon Fist is by completing the Tournament of Death Quest.
Drunken Fist: The Drunken Fist focuses on taking advantage of the enemy's ego. By pretending to be drunk, the user makes his enemy overly confident and then strikes when they least expect it. Some people actually use this WHILE drunk, like the head of the clan, but it is generally avoided since intoxication impairs motor skills... (On that note, you shouldn't use this karate. Instead, why don't you try a nice healthy sports drink! Hey, that gives me an idea for a karate...)
Wolf Karate: Wolf Karate focuses on primal instincts, and the training of the body with almost no attention spent to the mind. The main weapons of the Wolf Karate are fangs and claws, that cater to the non-human type fightery thingies. You know, like Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! But, despite this focus its still open to any who wish to train it and stuff...
Armadillo Karate: Though it is hardly focused on mental and physical perfection, this martial art has also been recognized in Horam. By wearing strong armor, the followers believe that their defense will outlast the opponent's attack, allowing them to counter when the enemy is exhausted.
Wind Karate: Wind Karate focuses on stamina training and speed. The belief of Wind Karate users is that if the enemy cannot catch them (as their main strategy in battle is running away) then they can't beat them. The users of this karate are decidedly pacifistic...
Bunny Karate: The GREATEST karate ever, if you ask me. Hot chicks put on Bunny outfits, and show you some *cough* to make ya at their mercy...I'd be hit by THAT anyday. Naturally, the women in Bunny Karate have the weakest physical characteristics and if you can look past their GORGEOUS features then I suppose it wouldn't be hard to beat 'em...

Zeo landed in the city, coming to an abrupt halt. "Here we are, Maigo. The Honorable City of Horam. It was here I learned the ancient Martial Arts of the Blue Dragon Fist. This city has been out of the eye of the Empire for a long time now-I hope my actions won't cause it to come under scrutiny." Zeo looked around, and saw his destination in the distance.
"Um, the Pagoda's that way...ask for the head of it, and say Zeo sent you. She should be able to help you...and now, without further adieu, I'm off!" Zeo's smile suddenly grew full sized, and in a leap and bound he was headed towards the Bunny Karate School. Without a moments hesitation screams were heard as the ladies were informed-the most notorious man in Horam had returned!

"...." she then went to the place and went up front to where she was told to go.

"Toughen up you weaklings!" the voice of a teenage woman screamed, rocking the entire five-story Pagoda to its very core. "If you guys don't get stronger we're NEVER going to be able to defeat the Empire! What's wrong with you, anyway? Can't even hit a girl?" Her teasing was harsh, but her reasons stern. Without power they could never defend themselves against Ghaleon's Vile Tribe.
Their training ended abruptly, however, at a new presence in the Pagoda. Stern eyes peered over at the newcomer, and warmed instantly once they saw her. Her lips suddenly curled into a full-blown smile as she went over to meet her.
"Heya, there! I'm Yuffie Kisaragi, Master of the Wong Lee Pagoda! Are you here to learn the way of the Blue Dragon Fist, or...are you...?"

"Zeo?! That no-good lecher? I bet he's off harassing the Bunny Karate Dojo again...man, he's such a pain in the..." her voice trailed off as she laughed uneasily. "Well, you know..." Her soft expression got a bit more serious as she looked the young woman over. She didn't look like much of a fighter, and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't figure out what was so special about her. Still, she had an aura about her that she hadn't felt in a long time...
"So you're the one, huh?" she asked with a slight bit of awe, stepping back to look her up and down once more. Finally, she clapped her hands and smiled at the young hanyou. "Well don't worry, we'll take care of ya' here! You can stay in my Pagoda for as long as you like! It'll be nice to have another girl around, anyway!"
Yuffie laughed out loud then, putting her arm around the girl and leading her away from the smelly dojo. She had a room of her own on the far side, behind a Japanese-style sliding door which she ushered the young woman into with more than a little bounce in her step. Indeed, she seemed to be quite pleased to have a guest that wasn't looking to fondle her for a change.
"Please, have a seat!" she motioned to a well-placed tatami mat on the far side of a small table and sat herself on the other. A large tea kettle was placed in between them, cold from lack of use. "Say, what do you like to drink? Tea? Water? Sports Drinks? Oh, and don't tell Zeo I have any of the third one...I like to tease him by making him think we don't have any here...consider it payback for all the times he's copped a feel on you." The master of the pagoda winked, then stretched her legs beneath her lazily.

"Um... tea would be nice," she said with a smile, but she then looked at her with some question. "I want to ask... what did you mean by saying 'You're the one'?"

Yuffie looked at her quizzically for a moment, then in a slightly hesitant voice asked, "You're the one the Emperor's looking for, aren't you? That's why Zeo brought you here...I wouldn't have let him compromise our home for anything less." The young girl stood from her seat all at once, taking the teapot with her to the corner where she started some water. With that under way, she came back and sat at the table once again.
"You see, Horam used to be a well-known village throughout the entire world. It was the foremost location for the practice of developing and practicing martial arts in all Gaia," she began explaining, her childish voice taking a more serious tune. "But then...the empire started taking over lands...killing everyone that stood in their way. Naturally, the people of the Pagoda couldn't stand by and let that happen, but..." her voice trailed off a bit as she bit back her anger.
"It wasn't enough..." she muttered, doing her best to stay in check. "The descendants of Wong Lee were all annihilated by the Magic Emperor, and everyone who had been to Horam or had mastered the Blue Dragon Fist were gone. Everyone..." Yuffie paused, gathering herself again. "Except my father, Godo." The whistling of the tea kettle broke her train of thought, and with a quick wiping of her eyes the young girl smiled and stood to pour a pair of cups for the two of them.
As she did, she couldn't help but silently curse the empire yet again...just one more upon the countless curses she had already placed upon them...and nodded her head in remembrance of the dead.

She went to Yuffie then placed a hand on her shoulder for comfort, smiling warmly to her. "I'm sorry about your pain..." she then looked away. "But yes, the Emporer is after me. I just don't know why, though..."

Zeo walked into the Pagoda, a bit torn up but otherwise fine. "Ah...so did you find that snobby-nosed Pagoda mas-" At that point Zeo came within view of the two, clearly noticing Yuffie. Suddenly the master of the Blue Dragon Fist began sweating heavily, nervous at the sight of the afore-mentioned person.
"Uh...hey Yuffie, its been a long time...no, uh, Hey! YUFFIE!" Zeo said, suddenly diving to hug Yuffie as he resorted to his only natural defense...lechering.

The sound of approaching footsteps was apparent to the well-trained master of the martial arts, and when the door slid open Yuffie knew there was only one person with the gall to enter without permission...and his stupid, perverted comments confirmed her theory. Drawing her Rising Sun shuriken, the ninja smashed the blunt side directly onto the head of the perverted android, dropping him to the ground in a heap.
"You stupid lecher!! WHY DON'T YOU EVER LEARN?!" Yuffie fumed, kicking him once for good measure. "Ten years we've known each other and you're still a perverted idiot..." The Pagoda master muttered a little longer, before taking a deep breath and calming herself. With that done, she smiled at the woman with her in silent thanks for her concern.
"Well whatever he wants, you'll be safe here...at least for a little while. You see, when everything went bad after the war, people sort of...forgot this place existed. In fact, when the idiot here washed up on the shores not far from here and we brought him back for treatment, he was the first outsider allowed in Horam in over two decades. I was only five then...but I remember the concern everyone had about him. But my dad assured everyone he was harmless...so we let him stay," the ninja girl sighed, glaring down at the incapacitated pervert.
"If only they could see him now...Godo would know how wrong he was."

Maigo looked at Zeo then soon started to laugh at the scene. She couldn't help but feel safer now. "Yes, I can't see why people should be concerned now. But he's not all that bad..." she fiddled with her fingers.
"Actually, he was the one who broke the barrier I was in and got me out of the Empire area," she smiled at Zeo then looked away. "So...yeah,"

Zeo twitched on the floor, but came back with a natural remark. "You could just finally marry me..." He stood up, rubbing his head from the shuriken-strike.
"I've kept this place secret ever since I got here-AND I've been the only one to master the Blue Dragon Fist since Yuffie's dad Gota. You think I'd get a little bit of respect for that at least, but..." Zeo motioned at Yuffie, pointing to her assault on him a moment later (Not that he didn't deserve it).

"Don't talk about my dad you jerk!" Yuffie yelled, smashing him one more time with the shuriken for good measure. "Just because I haven't finished my training doesn't mean I have to respect you, you lecherous idiot! And marry you?! I'd sooner castrate you!" A serious threat, and one that, from the look in her eye, he might not want to put past her. Even the calm demeanor of Maigo seemed unable to curb her annoyance with the would-be romantic android.
"Anyway Maigo, you're right...Zeo does have his uses, even if they are FEW," she glared down at him again, clutching her shuriken in the event he tried something funny. "And I am grateful that he saved you, though hopefully it won't lead the empire back here. Ghaleon finding this place is what scares me more than anything," she explained as she sighed and retook her seat. "I've been training as hard as I can, and I've managed to master every martial art in Horam with the exception of the Blue Dragon Fist. But then...nobody since my father has been able to do that since he died.'
'Zeo was his last disciple before he followed in the footsteps of our ancestors...he told me he would train me when I was older, but...he never got the chance," the girl explained in a hushed voice, paying a small bit of respect to her deceased father, Godo. Then, suddenly, she perked up all over again, "But that won't stop us...I'm still working to complete my training and at the same time, a lot of our students show promise. There's a chance that before long, we might actually be able to fight back against the Empire!"
