I'm sorry, but I'm stoked. I know many purist fans must be outraged, out look at the attention that was paid. In an interview (main website for the anime, translated by lovely Babel fish) says they looked at the book and musical pretty hard to get this off it's feet.
They've got two seasons lined up, what most people anticipate as Cosette as a child, then ending with her as an adult.
God, Japan.

EDIT: The ending was kinda boring... like, is Cosette attached to that ******** broom? But the opening... I took off my bra and threw it at the computer during the opening. I don't think Valjean caught it like he was suppose to, though, cause it bounced off the screen and landed on my keyboard...

So. The opening looked nifty. Javert, Valjean, Cosette, Fantine, Eponine, Azelma (WHOOT!) and some random other people all in glorious anime goodness.
But...I'm with Oos. Where's meh barricade boys?

Cosette's cleaning outside and thinking about Fantine. She keeps on saying things like, "I love you, mother" and stuff, just going on about stuff like that.
As for our BBs, they may...OR MAY NOT be coming. Series will run for two seasons. Fifty or so episodes. What most of us figure, first season is Cosette as a little girl, then we grow up. I make this conclusion as, apparently, Marius is being added later. Read that in the casting list. Forget where that was. XD
I don't think the BBs will be too major of a role. ^_^;

Well, they'd better have the barricades boys (plz, bishie barricade boys with hints of shonen-ai and yaoi!)/Patron-Minette in the second season. Or else I'll go inSeine.
I agree with Floggie, a lifetime's supply of virtual rainbow plushies and kudos to you if you translate the site. And...maybe if they are DVDs, you can fansub them and upload them on Youtube or something. Y'know, just saying...*whistle* heart

There are moments when, whatever the attitude of the body may be, the soul is on its knees.That doesn't work, thats what I've been trying to do, but I get pictures like this:  Instead of taking a screen shot, it seems to copy my media player, and if I take a screenshot, then move the player to another frame, the picture in paint changes to that next frame. Then, when I upload it to the internet, its all black! Oh, and I can't crop out the player, to leave just the picture, because when I do the picture moves around and gets covered up by the player (if that last bit made any sense)
