--Newbie Thread-- Welcome, newcomers, to the world of Oaxu!
You're probably wondering what you need to do first. What important threads are there to read? What sorts of things do you need to do? Don't want to make a mistake? Just read this thread and you'll be fine. :3 We have everything you need, right here!
First off, you're going to need to read the Rules and Guidelines. Know them well, because if you break them, that's bad news, alright? Most of them are common sense anyways so you should be good. All the same you need to make sure to read them all anyways, because there are some things that you won't be able to simple assume you're right on.

--Subforums--There are a few different places that you should know about. We have several subforums right now, each with it's own purpose. We currently have two journal subforums, one for role playing, one for out of character chat, and one for the crew. We also have a shop subforum, but that isn't open yet; it's a work in progress.
Welcome Forum :: The main forum of the guild. Here you will find mostly informational threads. Anything you need to know you'll likely find here. There will also be the occassional announcement about something important here. This is not an ooc forum.
Crew Forum :: As the name suggests it is a crew only subforum. This is where crew talks about things to do with the shop, vote on flat sales, discuss future events, keep track of different things, etc. Crew members should be sure to always check in this subforum, because it is a very important place for information.
Role Plays - Public :: Again, the name speaks for itself. All public role plays will take place here. You may also role play over personal messages if you wish, but you must role play in this subforum or the private one as well so we have proof you are actually using your character.
Role Plays - Private :: This is where there will be different sorts of private role plays. Crew only, for instance, or role plays where only certain Oaxuians are allowed in. Or perhaps one on one role plays between Oaxuians who do not wish to use PM's.
Out of Character :: Sort of a literate chatterbox, if you wish. Feel free to talk about anything out of character here so long as it is literate and does not go against our rules or Gaia's rules.
Shops and Games :: Not open yet, but in time this will be another fun way to use your character.
Journals :: There are five different Journal subforums, divided by races. One for Crows and Sarus, one for Anwen and Ehalu, one for Hazuiel and Katous, one for Chorda and Zymph, and one for Wraiths. Your journal(s) will be in the different subforums depending on the race(s) of your Oaxuian(s).

Now you can make sure that you have a journal. Do not make one on your own, but by now someone should have already gone and made one for you. If not, you can go ahead and ask a crew member nicely about it. :3 If and when you have one ready for you, feel free to start putting in character information in it. Whatever it is you want! You can even look at other people's journals for ideas on a layout.
If you've got your own Oaxuian, there's nothing stopping you from heading to the role plays. There will be several different Role Plays you are allowed to join. Any an all information you need to know on that will be in the sticky in the Role Play subforum. Make sure to read that thoroughly and you should be all set!
