24 mar 07 - kimaria & lethrossen decided i deserved one of their 13 pups! after a dice roll, i recieve kiasi'mtunza, the prettiest of the bunch, i say! 8D rolled here
15 mar 07 - safuma is born!
02 mar 07 - unsure of exact date, did not recieve PMed cert but this is when other littermates got their certs. recieved safuma's later due to owner typo. 8D
27 feb 07 - winners announced in kamilika/taziyan cub rp contest. safuma awarded to me and mzuza awarded to moon. yay!

Her personality is predominately kind and welcoming, enjoying a wild romp with her siblings but careful not to cause physical injury. A simple 'ow' is enough to make her cease play and worry over the other individual. She can be nurturing and will one day make a wonderful mother, but is not completely shy and demure in her speech. She speaks when is spoken to and sometimes when she's not, is slightly withdrawn around strangers, a mediator in discussions and curious given interesting situations. She's by no means ordinary due to her standing in the pride, but she is by no means extraordinary. Inwardly, however, the cub is torn by an extreme rage at her position as heir being stripped from her. She struggles with a need to be cold towards her twin siblings and parents, which would be against her own nature. This leads to occasional bouts of necessary alone time, at which point she'll become withdrawn and avoid conversation with other lions but especially within her own family.
On being passed over as heir despite her birth... The knowledge was not something that Safuma had tumbled into the world knowing, nor was it something that she had discovered for the first few weeks of her life. However, as she slowly came to understand the ways of the world, the little lioness discovered she had been denied something that was her own by birth. From the time she could comprehend her surroundings, the cub had known that Akida and Sarakiva were the heir and heiress. She had also known, though, that she was the first born. When two and two at last came together, it was a quiet and life-altering revelation. The sweet, gentle cub's heart broke as she struggled to understand the wrong that was done to her. The situation, however, was not widely discussed and her parents did not seem eager to divulge any information to her so the cub, after a brief bout of anger while on her own one afternoon, will swallow her pride and live on. She is not, however, content with how her title was taken from her and blames the twins for it. As much as she looks up to her mother, continual disappointment may eventually lead to disillusionment so that the Pridelands may one day become a prison more than a home. She regards this festering wound of disappointment and rage in her heart like a sore, despising it's existance but unable to get over the wrongs done to her.

family&friends acquaintances
Siyo / acquaintance / Saf has not yet finished an RP with this lion.
Idobi'Intombi / friend / Though this lioness is eccentric, and a bit older than Safuma, the two hit it off well. Safuma would be overjoyed to meet up with Intombi more often.
Kailio / friend / Safu enjoys making up stories with this young cub about constellations. They will hopefully meet again.
Chau / acquaintance / Saf has not yet finished an RP with this lion, though it is safe to say she will walk away with an experience as Chau is deaf.
Nsundu / friend / Saf likes Nsundu's carefree, harmlessly arrogant nature and though Nsundu's influence may not always be for the best, Saf is finding that she rather enjoys the young rogue cub's company.
Wahabu / friend / He is the oldest lion Saf has met yet, an adolescent male. She's looking to find a lion to learn to be an adult from, and hopefully the two will get to go hunting later.
Yen Ha / acquaintance / Yen Ha is a little intellectual, and it confuses Safuma a little bit. He's very wise, but his questions make her think really hard on things. It will come in handy later, and though he's different, Saf thinks he's a good cub.
Kiasiadia / acquaintance / Met in the same log as Yen Ha. She is nice and understanding, she didn't press Safuma to talk about her lost heiress position which Safu appreciates. She's also smart and knows alot of good things to say to make someone feel better.
Ezekiel 'Zeki' / best friend / Sharing secrets and many logs, Zeki (or Zex as he insists Safuma call him) are fast becoming best friends. The two are headed on a long bumpy road together, that's for certain.
Ophos / acquaintance / A friend of Zeki's, and a hyena at that! Safuma doesn't know how she feels about knowing a hyena, but will keep it secret for Zeki's sake. She thought Ophos alright, despite his species.family
Mzuza / sister / Though she will always feel a close tie with her siblings, she and Mzuza are still young enough to be founding their relationship. She is the sibling that Safu gets along with best.
Sarakiva / sister / Though Safu hasn't had a direct RP with Sara, Safu has her own opinions of her nevertheless. Safu will always care for her family, but sometimes Sara's attention-craving personality can drive Safu up the wall.

She loves her family to a fault, and would do anything for them. She can have a hard time saying no, especially to her siblings. She protects her family, especially her siblings, without regard for herself. As an adult, she will be a fierce fighter and hunter. A good many of her abilities will be instinct, driven by a need to protect. Despite her obsession, she is a relatively normal pup. She enjoys laughing and playing, tackling her siblings or attempting to bring down her father (playfully). She is distracted by shiny things and enjoys playing in shallow water.
